Rare Sonic Blue MY00 wagon, low mileage
As above just thinking about selling my MY00 wagon
It's a parrallel import (belgium iirc) so still a 2000 Turbo model exactly as UK car, it's in sonic blue (74f) which is very rare for a 2000 turbo (i certainly haven't seen another on the road round here) costs me n the mrs £420 fully comp (31,28) to insure
68k miles
cambelt changed
std/original condition
good history, all handbooks, service book MOT's etc
MOT 04/09
tax 03/09
CAT 1 clifford alarm
I bought the car completely standard but I decided recently I wanted to upgrade the power.. I've now been thinking if I can sell it I may buy one with a few mods allready.
Car is a really nice original one, steering wheel and gearknob look as new, seats all perfect, all in line with the low mileage.. even the engine bay is clean for a car that's lived in this country from new. Only things I've done are to paint the nasty orange bumper wedges in a black matt bumper paint (which looks stock but better) and fitted clear indicators to freshen front (but have originals still)
It has very good history (have all books and service book) a couple of stamps only missing as the previous (mature) owner (local to me) had it serviced at the place that did his MOT's (can most prob get proof of servicing from them as I take my cars to them for mot). I've recently serviced it with genuine subaru oil filter, valvoline VR1 racing 5w50 oil, new fuel filter, new PFR6b's (I keep all receipts and mileages noted on them)
Now, I'm not 100% I want rid and don't want to give it away as it's a nice car and drives perfectly (no knocks. bangs, crunches etc)
Engine is A1, perfect.. starts from cold in complete silence and makes no noises, love it.
I had started to refinish the std MY00 16's in anthracite but so far have done just one so I can either buy a std one or refinish other 3 (as it looks a lot better anyway) for potential buyer.
I really, really like this car (can't put my finger on it) but it's practical, fast and looks great in sonic with the late (original) front end.. I may well keep it unless someone's seriously interested.
£3500 which I think is a decent price for year 2000 with this mileage and colour.
