NOW SOLD - ON ITS WAY TO POLAND (sniff sniff)
I've decided to sell my much loved WRX STI Version 5 Type-R V-Limited, selling as I'm thinking of buying a house soon and also I've had Subaru's for over 6 years now and fancy something differant. It was imported new in 1999 and has 3 previous owners. I bought it last year from Scoobybits, had it AA inspected for my own peace of mind (it got the highest rating - never been bumped, all original panels), all paperwork included, and the car is HPI clear. Its one of the last of the classic shape before they changed to the "bug-eye" model. Its only done 73k and has recently had a full re-con engine fitted by A.C.Motorsport in Rotherham (AC Motorsport|impreza Parts|Impreza Performance Parts| Evo Parts| Evo Perfrormance Parts|Scooby Parts|Scooby Bits| Performance Parts For Subaru | Performance Parts For Mitsubishi | Spare Parts For Subaru | Spare Parts For Mitsubishi - UK) with receipts, obviously had a new cambelt at the time, been run in correctly with oil changed at 1000 miles and won't need another service for ages yet. Bodywork is in near mint condition, very small rust spot starting to come through on drivers sill but nothing really. Some of the cars features are as follows;
Full re-con STI engine running 300bhp plus new radiator and oil pump
Short-ratio Group N gearbox with short 5th gear for maximum acceleration
Lightweight aluminium panels, bonnet, boot lid and roof
DCCD (Driver Controlled Centre Differential) - Full 4wd or more power to the rear/less to the front, essentially making it a RWD car to reduce understeer - fantastic for cornering and acceleration (sideways in the wet)
White 18" alloys with good tyres
Full de-cat exhaust
Clifford Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser
Standard WRC opening/closing roof vent
Climate control with newly gassed air-con (with receipt)
STI front and rear strut braces as standard
Solid rear bulkhead for added strength and to reduce body flex whilst cornering
STI white dials with large rev gauge in centre
STI embroidered seats, steering wheel and handbrake
Kenwood CD player
12" Magnat sub with brand new amp
Electric folding mirrors
Intercooler water-spray (automatic or manual settings)
Fully AA inspected and approved / HPI clear

The car is completely standard bar the wheels, exhaust and dump valve, I also have the original dump valve with it too. Long tax and MOT. This car is essentially a road version of the WRC rally car and the fastest point to point classic Impreza ever built. 0-60 in 3.9 secs. Enthusiast owned since new.
