Well mothers old car has finally gone up for sale...
Making it the 3rd car I have sold this year, its beginning to feel like effort.
Honda : 2003 Honda Civic Coupe 1.7 VTEC
Suspect the price is a tad high but we'll see what happens...

I did have a look through autotrader though. I have found a similar car:
Auto Trader UK - HONDA CIVIC 1.7 VTEC 2dr Coupe
Arguably better colour, not far from you and a touch lower on the mileage. You could go £4,250 and see how that goes, but £3995 will get it off your hands soon enough. It does have lots of positives though like the T&T service history and tyres - and a great ad btw

Silver is a little yesterday, I generally hate green cars but this is actually a nice colour, depends on your tastes I guess.
Touch lower millage, yer okay but I bet you any money its more then 52,000, mine is actually on 52,200 I have just gone with 53,000 as then if I drive it at all between now and when its sold, and I will drive it weekly just to keep it dry inside and everything working there wont be any argument as to why its not exactly 52,000 or 52,201, I am not updating the millage every time I drive it. In terms of the add yes it looks lower millage but its likely I am being more honest about it... Granted thats not going to get me more money.
Currently the plan is leave it at its current value for a few days, and be prepared to negotiate down, then once its been added to several peoples ebay watch lists etc etc drop it under 5k but be less prepared to negotiate. It got me a sale last time as people seem to think there getting a "discount" even if it is a complete buyers market at the min.
Also Autotrader prices always seem to be under Pistonheads / Ebay Classified ones, since I am not listing it on Autotrader as they never seem to get me anything but canvases I am not listing it at there prices just yet.
Thanks for the complement on the Add

After one phone call from a chap who seemed as surprised as me that he'd called about it, I have slashed the price by a grand, which is pretty much where it should have started at, as some of you kindly pointed out.
However it does mean the newer better Scooby is now 1500 more, come to think of it I don't know why taxies are always Toyota diesels when for less they could run a WRX....okay I probably should stop being sarcastic now.

Selling cars now is one of the single most rubbish things. I am selling my scoob that in a good market should be worth £8.5k, I know im going to have to take £6k for it.....Rubbish!!!
But all the best with the sale, 3 private sales in a year.... better man than me!

Its possibly the worst I have seen it, I don't regularly sell cars its just been something of a year of change, done nearly as many private sales this year as I have in my whole life prior to it. Its defiantly much harder then it used to be to even generate interest, worse now then it was as few as 4 months ago.

Well its still for sale.
Have now dropped the price below all the competition and still not getting anywhere, aka no phone calls etc.
Getting close to considering raffling it off or something :-S
