STI8 2004 PFF7's, Silver, warranty
Recently bought as totally standard, but for reaons I won't bore you all with I no longer need a 4 door, 5 seater car. So just trying to get the silly idea of selling up out of my head really.
Anyway.
Its a 2004 STI8 with 47K miles with full subaru Service History inc cambelt.
Literally just put brand new PFF7 redlines on with Falken 452 tyres.
Just put in a front lip splitter.
Its just had a full decat including a 2 piece decat front section which makes life east to swap back in 2nd cat. (Original CATs available)
Remus back box.
The car is superb condition inside and out.
Remapped to around 330bhp.
Car should also be able to come with 11months transferable warranty. Decent RAC one with a 3K claim limit.
The car could be made available totally standard again including standard map.. Leaving just the new wheels.
I'd be looking for £9750 for the car as it stands will all the extras and mapped to around 330bhp.
NEW PRICE £8500 firm this week only.
I'll give this a bump for a few weeks, but if I get no takers then I will happily run with the car until the spring/summer or possibly beyond.

Thanks all for interest and comments - Decided to keep it now, probably until the years warranty runs out. The car market has gone totally mad at the moment and don't need or want to be part of it. I can see me selling for peanuts and end up replacing with something older and worse for more money.
I like the car, I can afford it, it goes like stink, have a huge knowledge base on tap, and its virtually depreciation proof. I don't mind loosing money on cars but I at least want 6 months to a years motoring out of it.
Good luck to all the others trying to sell at the moment !. They will be giving scoobies away free with crisp packets before much longer.

I duno what you mean lol
Although I must admit selling the GSI then buying it back for the missus for more than I sold it for was a bit crackers.
I have a slightly different outlook on cars these days. Some people will happily go and spend say 30K on a new car, sell say 3-4 years later for circa 10K. So thats 3-5K a year just in depreciation.
I might not have a new car, but I'm having the fun of trying just about every sports car/sports saloon car going. For similar losses over a year. Life is all about experiences at the end of the day, so dont regret any of my decisions in the slightest.
Although I must admit the buzz of car ownership is not what it used to be for me and cars are more and more just becoming a tool. Lets hope a nice remap will re-kindle my petrol head go faster buzz back

Besides and this is just my personal preference silver is quicker
TBH I love scoobs, but thought I had grown out of them so bought silver for the more subtle looks. I still do love scoobs and my current car, but in hinsight probably wished I had just bought something like a S2000,M3,Z3M,TVR etc. Or just stuck with my hack 306xsi I just sold, and spend my money on more sensible things.
Anyways I made my choice and its here to stay for a while. Selling a car is nightmare at the best of times let alone in the current market. And I got to get this puppy mapped up and see what its truly capable of.

Know what you mean about loving scoobs, this is my sixth one
No way I'm letting it go for £8-9k so I'll probably keep it for a while, now my mrs TT has sold I no longer need to sell. It's a stunning car and on the road can keep pace with nearly anything. I pushed a new shape M3 up the road a few weeks back which was fun but let's not open that can of worms
Would probably make more returning the car to standard but I'm far too lazy for that

OK peeps - One last attempt in case someone has some cash burning a hole in the there pocket.
Call it a pre-xmas, credit crunch sale for this week only.
I'll sell for £8500 no offers, no tyre kickers, cash purchase only.
The car has now been mapped and pulls like a train, So just to re-interate, this is a UK car, with full main dealer service history, with last having covered the cambelt as well. Complete with 10 months platinum warranty. 10 months road tax, MOT'd till June 2009. Brand new wheels and tyres, splitter, and full decat exhaust, and a very tidy example of its kind.
Seriously no offers on this price - So all you wanabe car dealers/vultures don't bother you know who you are
If it don't sell this week it will be used until spring.
