1998 Subaru Impreza STi Type R V4
WR Blue, Imported from new in 1998,
80k miles (brand new engine at 64k miles)
MOT til July 09 and Tax til Jan
£6250 ovno
I've only owned the car since April, but in that time i've basically got the car up to the standard I'm happy with.
To achieve this i've replaced the following:
Front discs & pads
Rear discs & pads
Subaru front shocks with -35mm springs
Subaru rear shocks with std springs
Subaru rear bumper carrier
Walbro fuel pump
Iridium Spark plugs
4 x Yokoham Parada Spec 2 tyres
Fully refurbed P1WRC wheels finished in Anthracite
Gen Subaru MAF (Expensive!)
New o2 Sensor
Green Cotton Panel Filter
Subaru Fuel Pressure Regulator
And the obligatory 2 oil and filter changes in 5k miles with Gen Subaru filters and Miller CFS 10w60 oil.
I would guess there's odds and ends I've forgotten, but there's not really much left to replace inall honesty!
After spending this amount on the car, you're probably wondering why I want to sell? Well, I really don't use it for what it was intended for. I use it to commute to work and pick up the girlfriend. That's it.
It's basically a standard car with only the exhaust having been changed for a de-catted Scorpion system. Sounds very different to your usual Impreza's on boost.
Only areas that require attention on the car are the rear of the roof has started to bubble a bit (common) and the car is sometimes sluggish to start. It has been to Brian Downie on a couple of occassions to trace the fault but we've come up with nothing and it never fails to start.
I'm sure Brian would vouch for the car as he went over the whole car on the 22nd October and replaced anything he felt wasn't 100%.
I'll stop going on now and if you have any more questions or want any more pics then let me know.
Car is located in Aberdeen.
Cheers
Joel
