um no....I was going on the info that it was a thunder tiger, I didnt know that was a raptor, and when he posted and mentioned it was a raptor, i then said "oooh its a raptor"....he hadnt already said it at all. so there lol

If he still has this after xmas I very may have it off him....although im guessing he's selling for xmas money. Think it would be a good move up from the esky honey bee king2 lol

And my phone is unbelievably rubbish when receiving mms, hence i put forward my email address

Ash, is that clear enough for you?

here is some helpful advice, yes the raptor is a good starter heli, i've not flown a honeybee but I'm guessing it is electric? Glow fuel heli are a different kettle of fish. Join a flying club and join the BMFA so you have the proper insurance.

and dont stick you fingers up at me young man!

I understand you perfectly Ash, im not a retard, thankyou. You asked the seller what size the heli was and he replied "its a Raptor 30" here is a clue, the 30 is the size of the cylinder capacity, in cubic inches, of the engine. However, the likeyhood that it really is a .30 ci engine in that heli are low, its more likely to be a .39 Thunder Tiger brand engine.

Not neccessarily JON, as he said he bought it off someone and didnt know if it had any mods, so rather than ask the guy the engine size, i thought id just ask plainly for the size of the chopper, i.e rear rotor to nose/fuselage, which he's just done so there thanks!

GTi, dont worry mate everything i own is an impulse buy matey....with regards to u wanting crimbo money, i will see what I can do mate with that....i will definitely let you know in time mate ok

And thanks for the advice....but I can perfectly fly petrol helicopters ta.... have been for twelve years now. After giving up and selling everything few years back, last year I bought an esky honey bee which yes is electric, but not really that much different from petrol ones unless your talking the big boys dogs mods expensive fuel heli's, which im sure your more than aware of

Wow... thanks Ash, yep I was talking about the "big boys" Helicopters. You obviously know the square root of squat about them, which is fine, I wasn't actually trying to upset you, but obviously I have. There is a world of difference between one of these:

and one of these:

if you have been flying Radio Controlled helicopters for 12 years, then you would know the difference & wouldn't be making yourself look like an arse.

gti00eater - my apologies for the intrusion into your thread, I am actually interested in you helicopter, could you post some pics for me please?

Thats a bee king 1. not a 2, there's some difference. Then again Id prefer the CP over the bee kings anyday, slightly larger and better.

Now that ISa lurvely helicopter

Not on here for arguements, just defending my case thats all.

yes please post some pics on here please mate, try get all the gear in the photo/s includint inside of fueselage etc heli with fuselage removed and remote

If you don;t know how to post im sure me or Jon would only be too happy to post them if u email us the pics

And yes i know the difference between electric and petrol....but if you have flown an esky you'd be surprised how tight the gap becomes between the both in "style" and "feel"

fair play Ash - another RC enthusiast on here, didn't know you were into your copters. I'm a car guy rather than a pilot, mainly because there is only one way to go for a copter when things go wrong lol
