I thought that, it is a very nice example though, he bought it a short while before prices started to go bonkers

A nice clean example, but i am affraid they are changing hands for less than half that.
I brought my Scoob 7 years ago, cost 9k and have spent more than that on it. Yet in todays market its worth about 2 k. Ouch!!
Will never sell it now, heck it might even become a classic in time.

That is very over priced to be honest, mine has been up for sale a week now, the mileage is about the same, it has the same wheels as your friends one but with 4 new tyres, it is a few years newer so it’s the one with slightly more bhp and mine is a much higher spec. AP brakes, Hayward and Scott full exhaust, Cusco coilovers etc. I have mine up for £3695 but willing to accept reasonable offers and I have only had 2 calls one offering me a skyline which I don’t want and the other with a silly offer of £2300!! The brakes, exhaust, wheels and coilovers are worth more then that alone.

I just don’t think it’s a good time to be selling at the moment!

Good luck with it though.

Do yourself a favour and don't advertise it on here. In my opinion Scoobynet is the worse place to advertise a Subaru, everyone will tell you it's worthless no matter what spec it is !

I know of someone who just sold a standard '95 WRX for £4k and know of someone else who bought a '94 WRX for £3500

I knew he wont ever sell it at his asking price, but putting it on here I thought would just be putting it into the light of all of us.... word gets round you never know whatever price it sells at, it's not being used to may aswell have it up on here

Is it standard, mods, condition etc ? Some people buy a right dog for little money and then slag everyone elses car off 'cos they got one cheaper !

I've seen Sti's for sale for around £2k but go and have a good look at them and see what you find !

Not saying yours is a dog, just telling it like it is
