Seats, Doorcards & All Ancillaries from a UK Turbo W-reg
I’ve got for sale a full set of seats and door cards for sale. I’ve also got all the ancillaries required to complete the install of the door cards into pre-facelift cars.
The set has come from a Dark blue mica (colour code 95H) UK Turbo W-reg (2000) which had covered 32K miles and as a result, it is all in very good condition. The seats are dark blue and grey with the lighter blue fleck – the colour changes between blue and almost black depending on the light. There are no rips, tears or cigarette-burns in the seats and there is very little wear in the driver’s seat bolster, as you would expect from the low mileage the car had done. I’ve just had the seats and doorcards valeted to a high standard as I was intending to fit it to my classic, but have decided to stick to the black/grey seats I’ve got.
What you get is:
- Driver’s seat (this is tilt and height adjustable, unlike all the earlier seats) complete with mounting frame
- Passenger seat complete with mounting frame
- Split rear folding seats with boot carpet still attached
- Full set of 4 door cards
- 2 x front door triangles for the top of the doors by the dash
- All ancilliaries required to fit the door cards to pre-facelift doors (see photos):
a) 4 x metal armrest frames which are particularly important if upgrading a pre-facelift as they are different (the front door ones screw directly into existing holes at least so no drilling required – haven’t looked on the rears)
b) 4 x electric window switches
c) 4 x door handles
d) 4 x door handle surrounds
e) 3 x covers for the securing screws (one was missing when I bought them)
f) 4 x plugs and >10cm of cables for the electric window switches – in my car at least, for my front doors, the existing plugs are not long enough to plug directly into the window switches and so I would needed to have cut the existing wire and reconnect to the new plugs to make it fit. This might not be the case for others, but they are supplied just in case
There are a few scratches on the plastic of the doorcards (I’m being picky and you can’t see them in the photos) and the mountings for one of the rear electric window switches has been broken but is repairable. The driver’s door armrest is sagging as the plastic is cracked underneath the cushion, but this is an easy repair and there is no damage to the cushion material - see photos below
I’m looking for £150 for the set. I’m not interested in selling any of the bits separately, as a complete set like this doesn’t come up very often.
PM me for further details or more photos. Pickup from West Sussex. Cheers
