335 godspeed front brakes on recon subaru 4 pots
upgraded rear brakes
apexi induction
Kakimoto 3" exhaust with bell mouth revolution 3" de-cat
HKS turbo timer

nearly new OZ supperleggera alloys and yokohama prade spec 2 tyres
prodrive diff guards

Very quick and responsive

Must me one of the cleanest/best condition early classics available for sale.
No stupid offers, but would consider a swap for a good condition bugeye WRX

I have it for sale on PH for £6000, I know alot of you will think this is expensive but I would consider a good offer.

For sale as I am a little bored (and maybe stupid) and fancy something a little newer??

For photos look at the PH advert here:Subaru : Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type RA

I take on board what you saying guys but I see it like this. I don't need to sell the car so therefore will try it at the crazy price lol, the only reason they are about for cheep is because some people need to sell there cars are are prepared to lose money on them because they need the money quick. To be honest I'm most likely being stupid as what I'm after won't be anywhere near as good as what I have allready got, in terms of rarity and performance.
Hopefully as it gets older it will stop losing money and the values steady out a bit as the prices are all over the place. Dealers are still trying to punt out cars not as good for the same money as what I want.
I'd sell it for 4k, but i'd take the wheels, big brakes, ecu, suspension etc off. I suppose its that same old thing as its most likely worth more in bits

I dont want to come across arrogant or rude mate, but if you dont need to sell it dont try too?, especially for the price of a good type r, skyline, supra, evo, etc, dont get me wrong, just about my favourite scoob is a good v2 RA for sure, and of which yours is a mint example, but i am not quite understanding the point of this thread or why you are trying to sell it for anything over what it is wirth, i have seen real v2 RA's going for 2500k on ebay in very good condition.

With all due respect you'd get one trade for that with a 12 month parts and labour warranty. Theres 2 on ebay for £4k last time I looked and they've not managed to shift them. One of them i've seen and is pretty tidy as I was quite interested about 6 months ago when I went to pick up an evo with a mate from the garage, but it still hasn't sold at £4k 6 months on.

At the end of the day its his car he can put what ever price he wants on it cant he not?
So what the market is dead, it doesnt mean everybody is skint! The thing is that with all this negative bollox that goes on in these for sale threads, if someone came on to SN and saw this car and was INTERESTED they would read the negative selling feedback on this car and think twice about making an offer on the asking price.

Great looking car fella! It's your car so I guess you'll price it as you wish ...

PS

Negative posts above should be deleted by the posters IMHO.

i did not post anything negative on the thread, i just stated facts. everyones scoob is priceless in their own eyes, but in theory it is only worth what people are willing to pay for it, and in todays market people will not spend 6k on a car when they can get a likely car for 2.5k, ok it may not be as good as the 6k one but its lesds than half the price.

no negativity is intended, good luck with the sale.

you're right I don't need to sell. i'm not skint for sure. I would like a change, so that is the price (or around that) I would be willing to let it go for, the car stands me at quite a bit over the asking price, and I think if some one who was seriously looking for a mint classic STi RA and wanted to benifit from some decent add on's such as the brakes etc might make a good offer??
The comments don't bother me and I expected them, but I only ask you judge like for like. A car sitting at a dealers with dings down the side panels holes in the dash, scruffy wheels and worn out suspension only means it needs maybe 2k spending it, so is it compareable to mine at that price?

People are still paying good money if the car is worth it, and it look a great car

Don't get it confused with a poor condition £2-3k WRX, which the market is flooded with
