BMW 328i coupe (e36) project?
Anyone interested or know anyone who would be interested in my 328i coupe?
Basically the viscus clutch which controls the cooling fan has seized and caused the headgasget to go.
The head is stripped off so car needs trailering away.
It hasfull leather, 17" e46 alloys, M3 spoiler, air-con, onboard computer, the usual 328 refinements.
Car is currently sorn and has 3 months mot left on it. IIRC the mileage is around 165k with service history upto 135k. It's only done around 2000 miles since last mot. Last mot it had new discs and pads all round, two rear tyres, an abs sensor and new windscreen.
Tidy car just needs the head sorting, a viscus clutch is £25 and a head set, bolts, coolants etc come in at around £125 from G.S.F.
I really don't know what it's worth i wanted to repair it and sell it but i'm out of work at the moment so really need to shift it asap!
I've looked on autotrader, piston heads etc and in good working order these go for around £1500 ish depending on mods.
What's it worth? I dont want swops or scooby parts, just cash to prevent another post titled 'scooby for sale' appearing within the next few months

ive got a good viscous fan at work that i removed from my 328, i just used the ac fan and it was spot on, guess i was lucky lol
anyways thought id mention it someone can have it for £20 i know they can be dear
