Safety Devices removable roll cage
I'm thinking about selling my Safety Devices removable roll cage.
I bought this cage off Scoobynet a number of years ago and it cost in the region of £550.
The cage can be removed by 2 people within about 15 mins or if on your own then 30-45 mins.
It has a fixed bar from each rear suspension top mount that remains in the car and then cage bolts to this (4th Picture).
The cage is well made with thick tubing and ideal for a person looking for a track day cage which can be removed easily so the rear seats can be used when not in place. It has a few light scratches, but nothing serious (crashes etc) and I used this in my sprint car for 2 seasons hence the stickers
I'm not in a hurry to sell, so if no interest or only silly offers I'll hang on to it. The harnesses and extinguishers are not included in the sale.
I'm interested in offers in excess of £350 I've seen bolt in cages make £300 on ebay etc
Regards Mark

You need to make sure it does work in the two door - I have the same cage, but it is a two door specific one as it has welded on captive nuts in some places where it's hard to get to otherwise due to the lack of rear doors. As Mark say you would probably still be able to get it in just makes it a bit more fiddly. Good bit of kit though - same harnesses too.
Can confirm the 30-40 mins on your own getting it in and out -I only ever have a bit of trouble with getting one of the 4 bolts that holds the X shaped cross brace and harness bar on, and that is easily solved with the old cage builder's trick of a length of rope looped around the bottom and X bar with a spanner through it to wind up the rope - pulls the X piece into the right location. Vital if you're on your own
Good luck with the sale

Best to keep both in my experience as on the road you will soon get hacked off having to undo all your 4 point belts because you forgot to shut the drivers door/ want to open the passenger door/ glove compartment/ reach for a car park ticket, and now can't, for example
I've also kept both in mine as the (same) cage only goes in for trackdays.
