my cars going up for sale but how much should i put it up for ??

Depends on mileage, mot, tax etc but I'd guess at around the 1500-2000 mark.

it reads 127,000 on clock but was in km till 2005 when it came over its a 94 wrx in silver so still in the cheaper tax bracket and can legally have a full de cat its got

just a quick one the law that says you require a cat came in in aug 1992 my car is a 1992 but was first registered dec 92 so it requires a cat you said that your car is legal without one ????? very nice car tho stunning

coz its a pre 95 import it doesnt need a cat

nope it doesnt ring dvla or go on their website

tell me where on the dvlw web site does it say yor car does not require a cat just checking because my car requires bfg army equivelent to a mot for overseas soldiers

either dvla or vosa websyt or a guy on here myblackwrx has the link to whre you can find the info any local mot station should be lcued up though they are down here

Got pulled by Vosa some mths back & 2 cut a long story short
You need a cat as stated on all cars registered after Aug 92
Mine was a 93 and i had grief

Please pm me a price though as i'm interested

tread hijack you dont nesserally need a cat for a 93 reg car because the car could have been made in 92 sat in a field for 6/12 months beforeit was registured in 93 will(should) still pass mot well if you go to a decent mot test station.
if your a mot tester or have a problem with this advise your tester to select F5 on the vosa computer and search emission and it will explain in that section.

Pre 95 does not need a cat it actually comes up on the emmisions machine with the year and you select this as your choice .

Ive tried to explain this to more then 1 MOT station, I even printed out the said flow charts with it on, they still laughed at me so not sure who is right.
