Cambridge Azur 540v2 Amp 5* rated & Speakers for sale
Hi All
In need of a living room sort out! have got too much taking over so need to unfortunately have a reluctant clear out.
Bought the Amp/cd player & some speakers (all 5* winners) as a treat for myself in nov 08 for my birthday but didn't realise how little space i have with also having surround av amp/dvd/sky/x360 etc all under the tv. So im selling the Amp as i can put my cambridge cd player into my AV amp.
Have a 2 month old Cambridge Audio Azur 540v2 Amp (bought nov 2008) up for sale in silver in pristine as new condition.
Also have a set of gloss red (with black grill) Tangent Evo 2-way speakers for sale. These are about 8 months old & again good condition.
Bought from richer sounds stockport branch / speakers from chester branch - so please check their website for the exact specs of the above.
The amp is simply amazing, very powerful & dynamic sounding. Have been using it to power my Monitor audio BR2 speakers. Bang for buck there is nothing i have heard that comes close to the quality.Tested this against marantz & nad gear. Its all gold plated connects etc & banana plug connections for speakers. Also see cambridge audio's own website for the amazing specs & reviews.
my monitor audio speakers have only just had their 50 hr run in - so thats basically how much use the amp has had, & obviously never cranked up while the speakers had been running in. The amps remote will control cambridge audio's ipod dock (will also throw this in iff i get my asking price). What hifi rate the amp as a 5 star piece of kit.
The Tangent evo's i have been using as my front surrounds. Again for the price they have been very good, have a good tight bass & pic up the little details in movies very well. They cost me £99 - richersounds only have white on the website for you to see. Run 100rms, 4-8 ohms & magnetically shielded so can be put near your tv. I also have wall brackets with them. Obviosuly with being surround speakers never been pushed hard or abused.
Amp i am looking for £190 plus post (will throw in ipod dock foc & a cambridge audio interconnect for it - £20 quids worth for both new - again all new from nov 08!) Have original box/packaging for amp (poss ipod dock!)
basiclally £300 quids worth for £190!! which is pristine as new condition.
Speakers c/w brackets looking for £35 plus post (£99 new!)
Postage prices will be next day courier (after money received/not saturday delivery) for £15 each
If a 2-3 day courier is ok, then £10 (would notadvise to send amp on this due to value but choice is yours i can not be held responsible for the courier!)

Or if you have a sensible offer that you want to put forward please give me a shout.
Also collection/meet local is an option aswell to fellow members! (i am in mid-cheshire)
