Jubby, they fit as per ordinary struts and yes they are better. Mike Wood of Prodrive specced these up as the perfect combination for Uk roads when he was sorting the P1. Better control, better stance. My p1 is a 2000 as well

Make me a sensible offer on the price -i'm not looking for loads, but I don't want to give them away either- and they're yours.

I don't know where you are, but they are currently at Zen in Wellinborough. If that's convenient you could get them from there or I live in London so i could get them here instead or we can sort p&p? The benefit of Zen is that they could also fit them for you too if that's of interest.
