Anyone interested in a 2001 JDM STI ?
Considering selling or breaking my car:
2001 Bugeye JDM STI WR Blue 51 Plate
Imported from new by Park Lane, I have receipt for 32k.
Full service history with receipts, mainly Prosport and Subaru4u
All old mots (I think), mileage can be verified anyway.
89k on the clock, mostly motorway. Car had 32k on when I bought it in Dec 2005.
Mods:
Scoobysport Janspeed 2.5" full decat exhaust, downpipe, centre, cat pipe and backbox.
Kakumei unequal length headers 4in to 1 with 3 bolt up pipe and venturi wrapped.
Perrin 3 port boost solenoid.
Perrin uprated front drop links - new just fitted.
Powerflex uprated rear drop links.
Carbon fibre triple gauge dash pod with boost, oil temp and oil pressure gauges (basic gauges but they work OK)
STI pedal set - not the ones that come with the STI, the ones with the red rubber inserts.
Carbon fibre boost solenoid cover.
Carbon fibre alternator belt cover.
STI aluminium battery clamp.
TurboXS Knocklite with bosch knock sensor.
Ferodo DS2500 front pads - std EBC disks.
Exedy Sports clutch - fitted approx 10k ago by Subaru4u.
Walbro 255l/ph fuel pump.
Green panel air filter - cleaning kit included.
Scoobyworld blue mudflaps with stainless steel fittings.
High level boot spoiler.
JVC mp3 cd player / rds radio (that's mp3 files burned to a cd).
Car has mot until October 2009. Had 4 new Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics last year and they have about 6mm on them. The car has been valeted once a month by Autosheen ever since I got it, has some stonechips but is generally very clean and well looked after. Oil changed every 5k miles (10k service interval).
I can either sell the car as is with the mods or with original exhaust system and headers, boost solenoid and piping.
At the moment I'm trying to work out whether or not it is worth me selling, I haven't used the car much in the last year, hardly at all since the mot, so it seems pointless me paying tax and insurance for it. I might consider something in part exchange, interested in doing some kind of deal with someone if it works out well for both of us. My other option is park it in the garage and sorn it for a while until I need it again.
If anyone is interested let me know, make an offer etc.
