Just removed this from my 1999 type r as its too loud for the neighbours its the ful system with the resonator in the middle section.
Has some suface rust on hangers and a few scrapes on resonator where my car is so low back box and tail pipe are mint.
Includes bung to make it a bit quieter but its still loud with this in.

It will be 3" to the point where it meets the downpipe, where it tapers down to 2.5"

yes Banny is right 3" upto downpipe then down to 2.5" to connect to standard or decat downpipes this is the car is was removed from there is a close up of back box in one photo.

Ah so you bought it, had been looking at that one but the lack of history put me off, I've got a mongoose system which is quieter if you've not got another one yet and your interested in an exchange

Dont think the guy looked through the history properly as ive got quite a bit of jap and import history with it and contact details for the previous owner.

i spent a long time going through the history, only importation docs and a bit of paper listing services that had been carried out was with the car when i looked at it
I've found the owner now and know exaclty what has been done to it so went back to buy it and they sold it to the bloke in ireland who then wrote off his part ex and pulled out but by that time i had bought the one i have now.
