2001 rare mica red wrx impreza prodrive 37k miles
here we have for sale my pride and joy its a late 2001 very rare mica red impreza wrx it has fsh,10 months tax and mot, tracker fitted, subaru factory fitted thatcham approved alarm and immobiliser, its only for sale as it doesnt get used enough to justify the cost,in the time i have owned it i have had a new lambda probe fitted,2 new front tyres, new brake pads, and its been fully serviced with genuine subaru parts,i can honestly say this car is mint and turns heads where ever it goes it drives like new with no nasty noises and plenty of power on tap with the 265bhp prodrive performance pack fitted which i had done at a subaru dealers with reciepts this is a genuine unabesed enthusiast owned car first to see will buy 100% hpi clear too genuine reason for very reluctant sale as my wife is a student would consider px for megane 1.5 dci looking for offers around £5250

jesus, chill out everyone wasn't having a go, but trying to be helpful if he wants to sell the car!
put it on the rollers and see, maybe do some reading in the technical sections. i've got a WRX PPP myself and spoken to tuners and rolling road staff who see these cars day in, day out - they've all said the same thing.
oh, and thanks for the addition Jimmy, helpful

That's like Graham Norton calling Dale Winton camp - sums up both mine and your posts. Really unhelpful to seller
So many posts on this forum from fellow scooby owners belittling sale ad's - have never seen a forum like it. We should be encouraging any sales especially in these crap economic times.
Also to add your post is against basic forum rules which you should have read by questioning price - secondly you say the power quoted by PPP is wrong in his for sale ad! You dont think thats slightly off? If you are so concerned about price, ad etc then surely pm seller rather than post it up?
Sorry iceman - hopefully mods clean this up

The Front calipers have been painted red and late 2001 cars should have the radio reception in the rear screen demister.
Other than that looks pretty clean but more pics would help a sale
Cheers

Right guys:
A) you're not supposed to start questioning what people are asking for their cars in the for sale section. If you think something is overpriced and want to help, a polite PM to the individual is a better way to go. I've edited these posts out of fairness to Iceman.
B) Aggressive rebuttals will do your prospects of selling things on here NO favors whatsoever. If you think you're getting a hard time by members, RTM and we'll sort it. Bare this in mind, Iceman. I do not want to see aggressive/abusive posts from you in the future.

I apologise for posting again but I've got a bugeye and have an interest on what's going on when something "bugeye" crops up
I know NS04 has deleted posts but the unedited post came to me Via e-mail so I know you don't think much of me, fair enough.
It's just unusual to have red front brake calipers on a UK bugeye from the factory as they didn't make an appearance until the later facelifted Blobeye WRX. Like the Morette headlights it's not a factory fit item.
At 37K miles it looks like a very clean and tidy example which I mentioned in my post
I personally think the Bugeye impreza is the performance bargain of the century and if you look at / search my previous posts this is pretty obvious
I apologise for any offence as none was intended
Shaun
PS
I still think a few more pics would help

I have mentioned your car on this post
https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...r-impreza.html
The Bugeye WRX PPP is a very good package and from a driver point of view probably better than the STi bugeye (without PPP).....for some reason the STi suspension was pants
I'd start a new thread with more pics and emphasise that it is a very low milage (do you ride a bike a lot LOL)
Cheers
Shaun
PS I lived in Manchester for a bit (13 years) around the didsbury area..
