tried for ya big fellah.

Thanks for bringing yours round at weekend,
Unfortunately I pulled the front end of mine again this weekend, so will not be selling mine too soon.
Note to self, must stop doing that,
Getting financialy sickening.
Go to go,
I hear another incident waiting for me to be involved with.
Good look, I have never seen one as shiny as yours!
I had better start saving up. (a-fudging-gain!)
call me.
The Giggling but "getting quite sick of it at the moment" Tubbster.

Don't go giving it away Mark. I know you are keen to sell. Get it in the autotrader, you'll get more that on Scoobynet. Its a nice clean car someone will be well pleased with. I know u is getting wed but easy.

Mark,
I have decided, dont use this forum to sell your motor.
sold mine for 6K in Auto trader this morning.
after advertising for a fortnight giving it away.
No hassle, No wise asses.
good luck with yours.
its excellent, you will have no trouble.
The problem with scoobynet is that peeps who log on sit in their "office" aka back bedroom, nudgin off, they never go and view the cars, they just sit and chip away until you get hacked off with them, and end up giving it away.
This forum is good for bits but for cars, they are all jokers.
dont waste your time.
see you at the rally day!
Redders.

Couldn't agree more , it seems there are two kinds of people
1,those who phone you up and offer you £25 cash over the phone
without looking at the car (or wanting to)
2. those who tell you they are genuinely interested and will be
round to have a look , so you re-arrange the day and go to work
2 hours late , and they don't come round.

To both these sorts of people , THANKS , some of us have genuine reasons for selling a genuine car .
I realise these comments in no way reflect on the owners/moderators of this website , it is very good and enjoy using it.

Rant mode off

Completely agree. What I did was place an ad in Auto Trader, and since the space you're allocated is so tiny I put a link in to a web page containing pictures and every single possible little detail about the car (excluding its identity), that way you reduce the amount of people ringing up just to ask questions and you only get the people calling that are really interested. Every person that called viewed my car and I sold it within 5 days.

Steve.

Well I bought a Scoob for a fair price through this forum. I've had both good & bad experiences buying/selling through Autotrader.
