if its the EGT sensor from the uppipe causing the engine light, search on here for "resistor uppipe cel fix" and you'll find details of how to get rid of the engine light - just need a resistor you can get off ebay for a couple of quid

i know you're fairly local to me - you got the car advertised on Sussex/Surrey/South East Scoobies?
