I'm sadly having to sell my beautiful 99 BH5 Subaru Legacy GTB twin Turbo.
I have just fitted a brand new EJ25 (2.5L) short engine from the new 2.5 Impreza STI into it and it has only just reached the 1200 mile run in period.
I was planning to get Bob Rawle to do the mapping once it had been run in but due to other toys and commitments I'd rather let it go as it is. It has been checked over by myself and another tuner on the laptop with a wideband lamda and its running perfectly safely as it is. To get the best power from it though it really does need a proper EcuTek remap by Bob (£450). Bob has said it should easily reach 330-350bhp without any major increases in boost. That would make a safe, reliable and phenominally quick car.
For those not in the know these Legacys are developed by Bilsten and handle beautifully. They are 260-280bhp as standard and having the two turbos means there is little or no lag like the Impreza's. The 2.5 engine has improved things further with even less turbo lag and even more low down power. The best bit however is the improved fuel economy from running lower down in the revs.
This one has the sumptuous full leather sports interior which is in perfect conditon, a full length electric twin sun roof, Electric windows, Clifford Concept Alarm, Central Locking, Climate Control, Electric drivers seat, Power Steering, electric heated mirrors, roof bars, tow bar...... and the list goes on.
It's also got lots of useful stuff that most cars don't have like a roll up dog guard that rolls up from the rear seats and has multiple fixing points in the rear of the car, also the rear seats have adjustable backs so they recline independantly - it is definitly a well thought out car!
During the engine conversion, the cambelt was done along with all rollers and tensioners and the auxilary belts were changed, it's had a full engine service including all filters and spark plugs (platinum) and I used Millers Motorsport oil which is recommended for these.
It's currently declared sorn but I can tax it at the buyers expence. It will also have full MOT.
Although high miles (100k) the engine is virtually all brand new (not the usual rebuild which are more likely to go wrong again). While I was doing the engine I also had the auto box reconditioned by a specialist at the cost of £500. The body work is not immaculate, it has a few hairline scratches to the lacure here and there but nothing major and it polishes up beautifully (as you can see).
This car is probably one of the best BH5's around and an absolute bargain as thousands have been spent to get it this far.
I am the Chairman of Scoobycity Subaru club and as such have driven and owned many Subarus but I can honestly say this has been my favorite. Although the auto box was a bit off putting for me it really does suit this car and is a pleasure to drive.
If you're offering the full asking price is I'll let it go with the Private plate S700BY C worth around £700
£5495ono
NOW WILLING TO TAKE £3995 FOR QUICK CASH SALE

Sorry mate, forgot the price. I've edited my post.
I must admit I'd never concidered one either before I got it, having always had Imprezas but it was nice to have something different than the masses. On top of this it was a far nicer drive, live with day to day and in most cases out performed them aswell.
