Default Tein Coilovers * Photos Added *

I have some Tein 'Basic' Coilovers for sale. These are virtually brand new, they were on my car for about 2 months and covered less than 500 miles. Cost me £550 new, I have the original receipt.

Click on the thumbnails for full size pictures

These I would strongly recommend for fast road/track use; they are very composed at speed, very assured on the limit. Quite a stiff ride though, so you'll have to go slowly over speed bumps.

If you're interested drop me a line, yours for £410 (that 25% off new)

Andrew

Got these on mine

I agree that at times that can seem a bit harsh but luckily not to often on the roads around here.

Were great when I took the car around Snetterton though

Good luck with the sale

Ady.

These will fit all UK classics '92 to '00 (can't speak for imports, but someone else might know?)

You will need to put the original top mounts on top of these. Compress the spring and remove. Very easy job. Much easier to put the coilovers on than the standard suspension. Also they are considerably lighter.

The only other thing you'll need is to have the 4 wheel alignment done, as the camber bolts will be moved when you swap the suspension over. This will cost you around £80. But you do wanna get that set up properly to really benefit.

If you mark the position of the bolts say with a black marker or white paint at 12 o'clock before you take them out, you can keep the wheels in reasonable alignment when you put the new suspension back on. I did this, and my setting weren't too far out.

Take the car to a scooby garage who knows what setting work with what suspsension. Ask on the forum if you're unsure.

Hope this helps

Andrew
