I had one of these fitted a year or so back. TBH it ran fine. I found that it seemed to hesitate a little when I tried to pull off after being stuck in traffic, but it was only once and on a really hot day in a long queue and that may not have been the DV, I was also suffering from a stcking boost solenoid at the same time. Other than that it ran fine. I ony got rid because I needed the cash to fix the boost problem. If I didn't have a GFB one sat in the garage I would buy a forge one again, really well built and easy to maintain. Plus you can buy the uprated springs from forge for about a tenner so it runs well with your increased boost

Good luck with the sale.

cheers for that mate

the hesitation you talk of is probably heat soak from sitting in the traffic rather the DV, although that help is for another forum

If I had an induction kit fitted I would have said yes, but as I have not suffered since I'm not sure. It was almost like the it stall momentarily and I can't imagine how a DV would cause that.

But the increase intake temp of no air going over the intercooler may have had an effect.

It hasn't happened again since so it hasn't really crossed my mind.

And regarding the price, £55 is a steal, it is the same price as I sold mine for and it was snapped up.

Considering they are more than double that new, and nothing goes wrong with them I'd hold out

oh damn , that's why it was a bit cheaper lol

As long as this one fits mine (i'm sure the bug and blob are different fitment mine's a blob) then i'll be selling my current one it's a turbo smart d.v single trumpet. I prefer forge d.v's hence why i'm going to try this one
