the exhaust - does it really have two cats? or the centerpipe is just resonated?

Yeh I think the centerpipe is a resonator rather than a cat, it is MOT friendly tho.

Is this set up specific to newage or will it fit classics?

Correct a TS sump is required, i got a new one from litchfield imports for less than £50. You will also need twinscroll oil pickup pipe, these are cheap and litchfield may well have them available too.

i already have uprated ,injectors, exhaust + pipes, air intake, intercooler on my 02 WRX,i'm looking to put a TD05 16g on it too as the final piece of the puzzle, could put on this twin scroll turbo instead? what benefits would it have over a TD05?

no, it wont fit in place of a TD05 as the flanges faces to the exhaust and the headers are a different spec, thats why you need the full kit.

thanks matt
