Default Set of OEM Suspension 06 STi

I have fitted coilovers and have no space to store the OEM suspension. It is fully functioning, there was nothing wrong with them before I removed them. Asking for £30 or so but you would have to collect them in Derby. Peter

Hi Dave, I wrote you to say that they were already gone. I am sorry about that, really. I am in Sweden this week. Sorry. Peter

the only message you sent me said-

'I will call you tomorrow. Peter'

how does that mean that they've already gone?

Hi Dave, I am sorry, yes they have gone. A Scoobynet guy called Drewski came immediately and took them - he has an 02 WRX and I think he will find they don't fit his car (and I told him so) so maybe you can contact him and ask for first dibs. I'm really sorry about this - I tried to sell/give them away for 2 months now I can sell a few sets...
Please accept my apology.
Peter

So Peter, did you end up going AST or EXE-TC and how are you finding them?

I am very happy with the BC Coilovers. They were easy to fit (4 hours taking my time, double checking everything, and taking progress photos) and if done carefully they hardly moved my alignment. They are fully height adjustable - no other 'cheap' coilovers are height adjustable. I would have likethed EXE TC because they are good British rally-proven but the BC's give great value for money. The ride is much better than stock and I have a test piece of road near my house on the A38 (so I can do 90) and the car used to bounce on it, now that's gone. It is great fun to be able to adjust the damping quickly.
I am happy with the 5/4 and if a person does mostly road riding I would recommend them.
If you are undecided but really want to improve your car, spend a few ££ and come and see mine. Or write to Bren at Apex Performance (bren@apexperformance.co.uk) and ask him if anyone near you has bought BC's from him.
You will fall in love with your car all over, AND you get ride height adjustment for free....
