08 UK/Euro STi brakes+what they fit
Calipers, Pads, discs and pipes, as removed from car. Only done 2K miles so as new.
I believe front calipers/pads/discs will fit any STi Scoob as a direct replacement, and any Impreza/Forrester/Legacy if disc drilled (5x100 holes) to fit hubs - costs £30 (Godspeed).
I believe rears do not fit any other scoob except 08 WRX/SGT provided you modify the backplates or fit STi backplates.
No reasonable offer refused !!

Cheers Ian ! I hoped someone would help us (the ignorant and unwashed) out !
Thanks again for your great brake upgrades (fitted to my 98 UK, back in 1999/2000 ish !)

Hi Stan
No the rears wont fit on with a bracket , on the gold rear calipers the lugs are closer together , so when you offer them up to a classic rear hub , the hub bolt holes are further apart so the caliper lugs fit inbetween the hub holes , the 08 caliper lug spacings are the same as the classic hubs , so the caliper doesn't go onto the disc far enough to fit on the disc properly , you would need about a 350mm ish disc to fit them on with a bracket , and there isn't a disc that big and thin enough to fit inside the calipers as the rear discs are only 18mm thick.
I have fitted some of the black rear 08 caliper on a classic , but it was with the 01 onwards wrx 290mm discs , and I had to machine the caliper lugs to make it all fit , then cut the pads down slightly as the brembo pads were too big for the wrx discs.
The easiest option if you want the look of the new calipers , is fit the fronts , and get the gold rears and respray them black and get some STi logo's made for them
Cheers Ian
