I bought a brand new set of tein super street coilovers (without top mounts) from demon tweeks on Tuesday for £805.00 started to fit them then realized I can't use my EDFC Electronic Damping Force Controller) with them, I should have bought the super street coilovers (with top mounts) WHAT A DIP STICK

So i am selling them for £700.00 (To suit 94 to 99 GC8)
I live in Manchester collection would be preferable or I will drop them of within a reasonable distance will post if required if you pay the postage.

Rather than loose money,why not buy the top mounts seperatly ?

Thats what I thought but its not the same setup spoke to Chris Marshall Dowe at Tein uk
today and confirmed it
the tein super street (without top mounts) is designed to be used with the OEM top mounts
or tein pillow mounts but no thread pertrudes at the top of the strut to mount the EDFC
where as the kit with top mounts is designed to take the EDFC KIT
hope this clears this up for you.

Just to elaborate on this post, the car I bought this kit for is a permanent track day car
That I don’t use on the road.
I already had tein pillow mounts that’s why I bought the kit without mounts thinking they were the same but they weren’t
The setup I want is the tein super street with pillow mounts and the EDFC Kit although
This setup is good for the track it would be a bit too hard for every day road use, on track
The pillow mounts will allow me to change the camber and the EDFC will allow me to
Change the damping while driving this was a must for me.

The Tein super street kit with out top mounts is designed for the standard OEM mounts
You will still have 16 damper adjustment and ride height adjustments but you will
a bit of a softer ride due to the flex in the OEM rubber top mounts
And you can still mount the EDFC but if you buy the separate tein pillow mounts
The design is slightly different which means you can’t mount the EDFC kit
