Thats strange, I'd have thought it would almost certainly fit!
Hope someone else might be able to help. Maybe PM Jolly Green Monster....and get him to map it as well

ECUTEK ecu. i would of thought it would of fit as well. i will give the jolly green monster a shout. it would be a shame if POWERSTATION were just trying to earn themselves another £550+vat instead of giving honest advice. I was going to get a load of whiteline goodies off them and get them to do the alignment as well. as well as let them do the remap. Still before i go slagging people off i would like to be sure of the facts. they may be 100% correct. Anyone else got any clue as to if the ecu of a 2006 sti will fit a 2002 sti????

What a great bloke JOLLY GREEN MONSTER is. just emailed him 10pm and by 10.15pm i had a reply. bad news is that the 2006 ECU will not fit the previous models as its for a 2.5 engine and apparently its a drive by wire car. I have to have a 2002-2005 sti ECU.
thanks again JOLLY GREEN MONSTER . Sorry Chrisdicko.
