i think she'll go soon enough, she's priced right to sell, and she's even better looking in real life. i will miss her though
so long as she goes to a good home, thats all i care about really.

Cool

craig
yer absolutely right. take a bog standard r33. they go for around 15k, it may need some tlc too. to get to my cars level, will cost you 20k.....as well as 15k for the car! i know this coz i have the receipts
my car is basically 6 months old, coz i changed, upgraded just about EVERYTHING!
the wheels alone are £600, plus vat, plus tyres....each
the brand new hks twin plate clutch is £1400
and so on and so on. i always used the car everyday when i used to have a 30 mile round trip, but i dont do the miles anymore, and i just dont get the time.
this car is a dream on the motorway. it uses no more fuel than an sti, and would muller it at any opportunity. cruise in 5th gear, its comfortable, fairly quiet, yet if u want to go faster (or lose an m3 ) then just put yer foot down, no need to change gear if you dont want to, it really pulls that well!
the car is ultra reliable, tougher than any scooby we've had and will not cost you a bloody bean in upgrades.
quite possibly its the cheapest skyline out there in many respects. buy a 15k one...then watch the bills mount up

i will keep this car near the top for the next two weeks, coz i cant be arsed with tyre kickers from top marques if i can help it.
but, if people realy wish to miss out on a bargain, fair enough, i'll sell her in the mags...and take no less than 23k

its 21995 on here, so dont be daft guys!

ANY inspection welcome. if you want an unbiased opinion of the car, either ring abbey motorsport who did the inspection for me, or ask on the gtr board, all the guys there saw it run at the TJ dyno day....and were VERY impressed

550bhp skyline is NOT scary...its just very quick and adorable

I've driven and rode in this car a few times, and althought standard skylines before it left me fairly cold, this is everything spudgun says it is and more.

Its got bags of character (twin dump valves, nice roar and the odd burst of flame ) is sedate in traffic and blisteringly quick on the open road.

Actually, what am i saying this car is awful nobody buy it, Spudgun are we still up for that swop mate?

right, definately selling this time.
why? coz i never get chance to use it these days, i moved so near to work i only do 1000 miles commuting....a year i do this in my ibiza.
i work 6-7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, and never get real chance to do trackdyas , meets etc.
my girlfriend has her sti5 parked outside which i can use whenever i want/get chance, and that doesnt cost me anything
i think its a shame to have a car like the r33 just parked on my drive and never getting used, i'd rather she went to a good home and to someone who'll use her for meets, trackdays and commuting up motorways.

heres the details....

full hpi clear

POWER.....

550bhp
449lbs of torque
ran at tuning japanese skyline dyno day without a single problem
also dyno'd at power engineering with 557bhp, again without a hitch.

just got the car back from abbey who did an inspection for me(havent worked on her before, so independant), and to do the wheel alignment. they remarked on what a bl00dy good engine it has, and how beautifully it drives. i kid you not, this is the fastest car ive ever been in...you WILL need to have a spare pair of undies with you at all times

if she doesnt sell on the net within the next two weeks, i will sell her in topmarques, and ask 23k...which is a good price.

i am asking £21995 on here for a hassle free sale.

ANY inspection welcome.
this is the car that you always promised yourself before you get old grey and boring!

you do not need to spend one penny on this car, its all been done for you. i have receipts for over 20k worth of mods.
ive sold my last two cars on this bbs, and neither were pups.......
but this is the best of them all

contact details...

evenings.. leigh@cosmictattoo.com
daytime...01206 575158

i will sort some pics very soon...you wont be disappointed!

you got a good 'un mate, dont worry. looking at your spec its a good price too. how you getting on with it?
i'll be sad to see mine go, but its even sadder seeing her never getting used in real anger.

Cool

Well I was hoping to pick mine up at the weekend but the DVLA were too busy to transfer the plate off the car over the counter so I have to wait for them to post to V5/New reg number back before I can collect the car

Anyway I'm sure someone will snap your car up quickly - its nearly as good as mine

What I could do on track with that

Looks awesome.....

I don't know why people are scared of cars like these - buy a Skyline - do less than a 1/4 what this has had done but still spend more?

No sense.

Awesome car.

Yep, just to support what Spudgun said, I've just bought a similarly powerful skyline. It is completely tractable cruises at very low revs, pics up quickly can be driven in traffic or faster round the track than pretty much everything. Don't be afraid of this level of power, I'd say it was pretty much ideal. A 400bhp Skyline is quick, a 550bhp Skyline is awesome. Amazingly servicing is cheaper than an impreza too - Hiteq charge £75 for an oil service (6monthly), £150 for a major service (annual) and £225 for the 2 year service. Bargain.

The car I'm getting did 173mph (timed by autocar) on a damp day in Bruntingthorpe (said it would probably manage another 15+mph if it was less wet ) when it was only running at 490bhp (now running a bit more more), it was just beaten by the diablo... I expect with 550bhp the skyline will probably keep up with the diablo.

So think about this, a car which is a quick as a diablo and more powerful than any current Ferrari in immaculate condition, with every extra for only £22k. Someone should snap this car up, I would if I hadn't just bought a silver one

What's the servicing interval in miles, polarbearit?

BTW Spudgun:
the car is ultra reliable, tougher than any scooby we've had and will not cost you a bloody bean in upgrades.
Except the cost of removing those neons, eh?

32 male
5 years NCB
no convictions (god knows how )

£1000 per year

no worse than an sti eh?

my r33 is gorgeous, fab condition, brutally fast...yet insurable.

and i'll make it even easier...

i will consider a part ex. no uk cars though, prefer sti's( no mingers either please).
i dont need one (got one already outside), and i'm not strapped for cash. i just genuinly want this car to go to an enthusiast who will love her and spend time with her, thats all. this car has never let me down, so i'm not gonna let her down by selling her to someone who'll abuse her. i'm not desperate to sell.
if you wanna move up from an sti or evo, then let me know.

fair enough?

What about a partial trade for a V8, Supercharged, only 17,000 miles on the whole drive train, 11 Sec 1/4 mile Mustang?

It doesn't hurt to ask

Yes Harps I have been reading this and it's just making my life more difficult. How the F**k do you choose between this, a 22B, a very well sorted P1, an even more sorted STI V and then of course there's the 911/Cerbera idea in the back of my mind. Nightmare.

Then again, after our run out earlier today why bother changing.

thats one cool shopping list mate! nice one i think your dilemma would make an excellent topic of discussion (though not wanting my thread to be hijacked please )

i only have experience of sti5's, evo6's,heavily modded pulsar, and R33. cant comment on porsches, 22b's or tvr's, never had one.
the only experience i have of porsches is when they move out of my way

by all means mate, ring abbey who will give you an independant assesment of my car, or speak to some of the guys on the bbs who've been in it or seen it.
feel free to ask on the gtr board too, plenty saw her in action at the TJ dyno day in january.

anyone else have any questions, please feel free to ask, i dont bite
