Default STI 5 wagon bits & proven 355 BHP upgrade package

I have a load of STI 5 wagon parts to sell after my latest project.

All these parts are with API Engines except for the ECU which I have at home. But please don't bug Dave. Speak to me first.

Everything worked fine before I rattled a big end. Approx age / mileage for the parts included FYI.

I’m thinking I could sell items 1 to 6 as a proven 355 bhp package first. If I have no luck after a week I’ll sell individually.

Any offers seriously considered…. But please do your own research to make sure you know what you are getting!!!

See here for the dyno print out for this lot. Just make sure you get the ECU remapped!! The only thing missing is a decat down pipe & decent 3 inch or so exhaust.
  • Possum Link ECU – Bob Rawle has all the necessary files & software
  • APS Top Mount Intercooler
  • APS HPA/99 High flow air cleaner (2004) - Inner wing cold air induction
  • 550 cc injectors 45k miles (2005)
  • Walbro 255 lph fuel pump (less than 12 months old / 15k miles)
  • TD05/06 20g Turbo approx 45k miles with up pipe
Other parts up for grabs include:
  • STI 5 short motor with blown bottom end stripped. OK but needs a re-bore - 90k miles
  • STI 5 factory flywheel - skimmed, no judder – 60k miles
  • Exedy Organic Clutch – 60k miles worn but not slipping with the above mods
  • Large bonet scoop
  • Splitter for scoop
  • STI 5 WAGON 5 speed gearbox – 90k miles good working order
  • STI 5 WAGON rear diff – 90k miles good working order
  • Haywood & Scott stainless 3” decat down pipe (2005 / 45k miles) with brand new (only been run for about an hour!) 3” 200 cell cat welded in place. Fits perfectly and can pass an MOT OK.
  • Bonnet Vent
  • Headlamp cover vents - pair.
Cheers,

Ian.

Wow, I received a lot of mails asking for prices over night. Thanks for that.

We all know what these bits are worth. I’m only after what is fair so just make me an offer. If I like it they are yours!

I forgot to say postage to be charged at cost – what ever method you prefer… Or of course collection.

The location of the ECU, and plastics is Basingstoke. Everything else is with API in Harbury (Warwickshire, CV33 9PL).

When the ECU came off it was running fine (except for the big end). Bob Rawle changed it for a new ECU and put it straight into the old box. I can’t offer any guarantee. Sold as seen. If you let the smoke out of it – should have read the manual properly (which I can email you if you are interested)!

OK, just spoke to Dave for advice on pricing (thanks Dave). Happy to consider offers though. Postage charged at cost.

1. Possum Link ECU £350
2. APS Top Mount Intercooler £350
3. APS HPA/99 High flow air cleaner £100
4. 550 cc injectors £200
5. Walbro 255 lph fuel pump £35
6. TD05/06 20g Turbo £600

Or make me an offer for the lot.

Other parts up for grabs include:

9. Exedy Organic Clutch £50
10. Large bonet scoop £100
11. Splitter for scoop £50
12. STI 5 WAGON 5 speed gearbox £400 - 4.4 diff, code 754VBAAA. According to Dave it is the same as P1, V5 & V6 4 door STI with the high 5th gear.
13. STI 5 WAGON rear diff £250 4.4 / R160 with 1 x drive shaft (apparently you'll need it - left over after my 6 speed conversion) £50

15. Bonnet Vent (needs painting) £75
16. Headlamp cover vents, pair (needs painting) £30

As above. 60k miles and it wasn't sipping at 355 bhp. It should come with the cover & release bearing.

I'm just checking with Dave at API that everything is there. I've also asked him how it looks (as I haven't actually looked at it closely). I had other more interesting things to look at the last time I was there!!

Should have an answer for you tomorrow.

All prices are above. Anyway, I'm not selling any struts. I think you answered the wrong post!

About 10 to 15 bhp on a standard cat. But really, if you are asking questions like that you should leave well alone and take it some where to get it done! It will end in tears.

Confirmed as 30% worn which is testament to how I drive the car given that it has covered 60k miles! Bodes well for the rest of the parts for sale here!

No idea sorry. It came with the car. All I know are the numbers TD05/06 20g (that were told to me when I got the car).

If there is a way of telling what it is I could ask Dave to check it out… or send a knowledgeable mate round to API… otherwise you’ll have to take a punt.

… or you could pay the costs to send it to Andy F (and back if it is not what you think it is) so he can check it out …
