Seriously cheap 95 WRX
Hi, due to my wife loosing her job the scoob has to go very quick sale needed.
Very low mileage (47,000) blue with silver graphics, 10 months MOT, 3 months tax, 10 months transferable warranty!!! And a few other extra's. Really good condition.
I paid £3300 only 2 months ago and am only asking for £2400 ono.
Ring/text me on 07791299183 or PM me for more details, Paul.

95 WRX's have been known to change hands for around £1500 so £2400 really aint that good a deal in the current market. But as ever condition can make a huge difference.
Where abouts in the country are you ?

Im in Manchester but am willing to travel to sell it. I know what you mean about the graphics but they have only been on a matter of weeks. Anyone who came to see it would know that it's not been ragged due to lack of stone chips, there are 2 x baby seats in the back and i'm quite a sensible driver being a serving police officer!
More about the car - Imported by a local company in May last year, has only covered a thousand miles or so in this country and always run on 99RON fuel. It has JVC CD player, original mats, genuine Subaru sump guard, Stainless exhaust fitted in Japan so unsure of make. Original alloys wearing Yokohama tyres with loads of tread left. Couple of marks here and there but nothing major, the interior is immaculate with only a tiny bit of wear on the drivers bolster, not worn through but slight 'bobbling' on the suede. The tyres are usual Japanese 99 MPH rated jobbies and the car was deristricted just before i bought it by the importers and due to the tyres i have only took it to the 100MPH mark (on a private track of course, wink wink) so its not been hammered on the motorway! It had a service when i bought it and according to the Japanese service history had the cambelt done at approx 35,000 miles. It has 10 months warranty which can be transfered to the new owner so has piece of mind if something does go, it covers loads!
Who ever ends up with this car will not be dissapointed!
Judging by the above comments I am open to sensible offers!

log into photobucket and you can link them from there.
I get what you're saying about the car and the owner but you need to get people to come see it first to be able to secure that sale.
Do you need the money or need to stop the heavy outgoings short term? You could downgrade the insurance and mothball it for a while.

To be honest we are gonna need the cash to help us out, would obviously love to keep it but its not on the list of our priorities as we have a very economical 1.2 punto, filed up the tank about 6 weeks ago n its still got 1/4 tank of fuel!
Come on people buy my car!!!

Have you seen some of the crap wrx's selling for £1500 - £2000 ?
People on here keep saying you can get a wrx for £1500 but most of them are absolute sheds.
If it's in good condition i'd say £2500 is a good price.
It's funny that this is supposed to be a Subaru enthusiast's site but people on here are doing there best to drive the prices down while on other enthusiast's sites they are doing there best to keep prices higher

Cheers shaggy, i'll try and send you the photos, much appreciated.
The car is in good condition and when it's parked up next to other scoobs of a similar age you can see the difference!

dont suppose he does but in reality if he doesnt then he wont sell it and get the much needed money he clearly needs or he wouldnt be trying to sell it for almost a grand less than he just bought it for. as for driving prices down - have you noticed the credit crunch? used cars are not worth a frickin bean at the moment, the only winner here is the guy he bought the car from. he could always hold out and eventually get less than he would than if he dropped the price now, i work in sales and have seen the effect of the seller not being realistic and getting 15% less later (albeit houses not cars)
just trying to help not p1ss the guy off (even if he is a copper )

The problem with us Enthusiasts is that we price our cars with all the passion and time and effort and money that we put into them which is not realistic when selling.
Every time someone puts a car up for sale on here its the same. Everyone else with a 1994 wrx will say its a bargain and anyone actually thinking of buying one will have looked on ebay and autotrader and seen what people are asking And think its too dear . (the majority of cars are sold for less than asking price) . i wish 999s car was worth at least £3000 because it would make my two WRX classics i have for sale at £1795 and £1995(not sheds by the way ) sell very easy.
best of luck with the sale

I appreciate what your saying but in my opinion a couple of grand for a low milage car that will embarass cars worth 10 times as much is a realistic price. It is a buyers market and i'm sure that the right person is just around the corner!
Just put my house on the market too today, struggling to sell my car for £2400 and i've just put the house up for £170,000, hope that goes a bit better lol.
Tell you what who ever buys the car, and lives in manchester I wont stop them if I see them speeding, ha ha, now thats an incentive!

i hope your house price is realistic mate as those prices will definately drop again by the end of the year and you want be wanting to lose £10-15k+ on that, general rule at the moment is be the best/cheapest in your street area to guarantee a sale preferrably both

We bought our house 2 years ago for £170k, spent £15k on a huge conservatory, rear garden and decked patio area then had it valued last year at £190k. 2 x estate agents have suggested £170k which means we've lost out on the £15k and the estate agents fee's, hip pack, solicitors fee's etc. There are no others like ours in this area and the closest is priced at £165 but to be honest its awful so fingers crossed it will hopefuly be a quick sale!
Anyway back to the scoob, anyone wanna make me an offer? £2200 and it's yours and i'll throw in a chicken nugget happy meal for the buyer!

The problem is not people on here driving the price down its the hundereds of other people on autotrader and ebay that are trying to sell their cars in the current financial climate.those are the people you are competing with to sell you car.Its a buyers market at the moment and people are just being realistic. im a subaru enthusiast but also in the motor trade so i see it from both sides.

Come on, am reducing the price again before it either goes on autotrader, ebay or as per the above post I break it. Don't wanna do the last as it really is too nice a car to rip apart.
£2000 will now buy this car.
Someone must now be interested?

I'm tempted to put in on autotrader for a week, didn't want to as i don't want young lads coming havin a look, offering to buy it then pulling out due to insurance. Wanted to advertise it somewhere sensible with an audience that understands scoobys!
Surely someone is willing to part with 2000 £1 coins?
