no thought it would have been, gave chris the benefit off the doubt AGAIN...seemed genuine and promised that his car had been sold and he had a bankers draft that should off cleared by the beginning of last week..
said i would recieve a postal order with my £90 back...but aint heard of him...

sick of it now, il never buy off another memeber on here...

If I were you I would consider contacting the Police about this matter and let his local constabulary go and have a knock on his front door and see if that shakes him up.

Not all members on here are out to scam people but there does seem to be a minority who are giving the majority a bad name.

seems he has friends on here but where are they now ?? we have sent him pm's but no joy and seems he has vanished

will have to take it to the police now as we have gave him enough time to sort it out , plus it seems we are having to pm all the time to chase it up AGAIN

As you know I had problems with Chris.B aswell !

I left him negative feedback on his itrader and he had the cheek to leave me feedback saying I was being unreasonable!

I would advise anyone on here not to deal with him again.

he's also on impreza sport net and he has a link to a car he was selling on ebay and if you click on the link it takes you to his ebay and it seems he has sold a few things in the past month even sold an impreza for a grand so where is my misses £90 as this was on the 22 of may it was won

also had a pm off someone else today ,they have had problems with him too

Chris wanted to buy some speakers off me a couple of weeks ago but said he wouldn`t have the money until Friday 29th May. I reserved the speakers for him but he`s not replied since.

There`s no excuses really, if A seller has problems or is due to go away/go on holiday then they should inform the buyer and keep them upto date.

Hope you get this sorted.

Im getting a bit pissed of with seeing this all the time now , If the people who have brought items of him and are still waiting for them or refunds just go round his address and sort it out , contact a moderator , or even go to the police , how many chances do you lot want to give the bloke . like some people have said its not only on here his doing it , needs to be put to bed now ..before a lot more than 2 - 3 people get ripped off and his laying on some tropical beach somewhere ...

What are the moderators on here likely to do and I can't see the police doing much either !

Unfortunately this kind of thing is getting too common these days

Maybe Scoobynet could/should do more to prevent people getting ripped off but that's for a whole different thread

I do understand about the not living close thing but im sure if enough people complain like they have done the mods can susspend the account and stop other people falling into this same posistion these inocent scoobynetters are in . As for the police im sure they will be interested if people thats say there having trouble report it .If his done it once whos to say his not getting rich of fake items for sale ...

i didnt have anyone probs with chris.b, he had messaged me 2-3 times sayin he was selling a car and that he had a bankers draft which he was waitin to clear, he promised me faithfully that i would get my money back last week, well i have been waitin for it now nearly 2 months, oh and paypal couldnt get it from his account as it seems it has been closed!!

belive u me if i had his address i would be round there, do you honestly think i can afford to lose £90 when me or my partner have both been made redundant and we have a 6 month old daughter???

i have pm'd mods, and have been advised that appart from leavin him negative feedback theirs not much they can do...i wont stop until i resolve this....

whats even more annoying is that pay pal cannot even sort it so it shows that the dispute system dose not work as anyone can open a pay pal account and say they have things for sale on any forum then get a payment or even a few then just close or empty the pay pal account and pay pal cannot do a thing about it

i have contacted pay pal about this and I'm awaiting a reply so will keep you posted

Surely somebody has his address details ????? post it up on here and im sure somebody will help you out (for a small fee pmsl ) , im just glad ive had no problems from buying of people on here ,

you can print a delivery note via paypal.

with regards to the moderators, i would have though they should be in a postion to help don't you have to give your address when you sign up to sn ?

they seem to be able to hand out infractions so why can they not do something about a thief ?

thanks for the support guys seems he's done a runner and more than likely has made up a new user name by now
pay pal got back to me and said there is nothing they can do about it

so it seems this is how people know they can do other people over and have now lost all my faith in paypal and buying from forums as it's so easy to get done

i bet he's seen this thread and has not signed in tho and my last thread was closed by the mods but i hope they see now that we are not just doing this to cause arguments but just to warn people that there are people like this out there and maybe Sn can do something about it
