im quite interested mate but i wouldnt have a clue about private plates,what do u have to do to transfer and is there any fees etc to pay?

yes mate there is a fee.the fee is 80 pounds hence my asking price which would pay for the transfer of my own plate to this vehicle and then you would have to pay the transfer fee to your vehicle which is also 80 pounds. this means you can buy and transfer a private plate for only 160 pounds to your car.however your car must be 1998 or above.cheers . call on 07815 720271 for any more information,tony.

we would have to get a registration transfer form from the post office and fill in the details of both cars and owners and send it to swansea, or as i did when i bought my plate,i met the seller at nottingham dvla and sorted it there.it normally takes a few weeks for the process to go through.i could send you my plates or you could buy some new ones.

no the plate isn't on retention as it is still on my car and in daily use but if you were to buy then of course i would send you the paperwork to fill in and then i could send it to swansea at the same time as my private plate details and then everything should work out so that you put s 555 on yours and i put my plate on mine at the same time. i am a very honest person and would in no way try to fiddle you in any way.if you look on ebay ,item no 250441960999 you will see the plate for sale at the same price and my 100% feed back.

that means putting it on retention which is actually more money at 125 pounds or paying me the 80pounds and me waiting for you to afford your part of the transfer,which if nobody else is interested in the plate i am prepared to do but how long are you looking at mate? call me on 07815 720271 mate to keep details private

i might have to leave it then as i dont know when ill be able to transfer because work is up and down at the moment,thanks for the info and time,but just cant part with 125 or 160 at moment.i was thinking of buying the plate and then waiting till i saved another 80 and transfer it then(whenever that may be)but if i cant do that then ill have to give it a miss at this moment in time,sorry mate and thanks again.

i could wait a month mate if that would help as my son in law has my plate as he bought my car off me but i would want the 80 pounds for the purchase price up front . is this of any good to you,cheers tony?

you have the gift man ,i must admit, but,and a big but,i need a date (a month from now)to sort paperwork preferably a week previous to get the ball rolling and the 65 is non returnable if it goes pete tong on your end as you have a big big bargain at that price.just a thought ,if i get a better offer of about 200 will you accept your 65 back?

i will definetely have the transfer fee on the 5th july,so i can pay from the 5 july onwards,if u sell me the plate at that price that is a done deal,as soon as i pay u , u should be removing it from ebay and posting sold on the thread on here.if u get higher offers and want to go back on the deal then sorry mate but im not interested,this has to be a genuine sale and once the payment is made then that is absolutely final,and i would expect you to keep to your word regardless of offers.....sold is SOLD!
