Default Subaru Impreza STI Version 5

Febuary 1999 (s reg) WRX STi version-V

4-door in Royal Silver mica.

Only mods include upgraded oil pump, Blitz exhaust system, Ninja 100 cell race cat, crystal light package, Bailey D/V and 18" Innovite alloy wheels (fitted July 2008).

Imported brand new to the UK by Lockyear Cars - 3 previous owners since new. Full UK service history.

Standard STi features:

Drivetrain & suspension

- 4 wheel drive
- STi 280 BHP uprated engine ( STi ECU, STi forged pistons, STi intercooler etc) Probably running over 300bhp mark.
- STi Cast Aluminium suspension arms
- STi Uprated springs and dampers
- STi Carbon fibre front strut brace
- STi Anti roll bars
- STi Quick shift
- STi Quick ratio steering rack

Interior & exterior

- Aluminium light weight bonnet and boot
- Air conditioning and climate control
- STi Alcantara sports seats and alcantara door inserts
- Drivers seat lumbar support
- Factory MOMO leather covered steering wheel and gear ****
- White dial dash clocks with centred rev counter
- STi High Level Rear Spoiler
- STi Fog Light Blanking Covers
- Colour Coded Skirts and rear splitters
- Electric Folding Mirrors (including fold in function)
- Rear Screen Wash Wipe
- Electric windows front and rear
- Electric radio aerial
- Driver and Passenger airbags
- STi 4 channel ABS braking system (not fitted to 2 door STi's)

Other features:

Thatcham cat 1 alarm/immobiliser fitted last year
Origional invoice from Lockyear Cars for £28500.
mot till Feb 2010
Tax January 2010

3 owners since new. 65k carefully driven miles verified by service history. Always run on V-power. Details of previous owners available

Serviced by Lockyear Cars, Haven Motors, Virdee Motors and JEM all of which are Subaru Specialists. Full UK Service history, stamped service log, owners manual and all original books but they seem to be in a strange language, could be Japanese me thinks!. Oil changed regularly (Millers).

Recent service carried out Sep 09 by JEM Service and included cambelt, alternator belt and ac belt changes. Full inspection report available by technician. Only issue were brake pads which are slightly worn.

ha ha, i did mate. sold it a couple years ago. i believe its in a scrap yard now after being written off!

the metal plates i bought a few years ago from dubmeister.

HAHA Thought it ws you, i remember you getting your v2 sti. Cupra was a nice motor. I miss my ihi mk3 cupra too. What you fancy getting next

not to sure mate. it was imported from new and has run fine for the last 10 years i suppose! there's no records to indicate that it's been mapped and i've got loads of paperwork for it!

ahh cool! don't really miss the ibiza after my scooby. i'm in no desperate rush to sell it, but i am after an m3 now. bit of power and a bit of luxury too!

Price re-adjusted and service complete along with cambelt change in Sep 09 by JEM service. Japanese Car Service and Repairs

You can't map the original Scoobs unless ECU is changed for aftermarket one so probably hasn't been done.

Big, stunning car best of luck with the sale, someone will be getting an excellent example of a version 5 saloon STI

many thanks Tony. Will have to reconsider the sale after spending that much on it! It's not a bad thing though, I could easily keep it for at least another year. Just means my mum will have to put up with the noise a little longer!
