Default Stolen Parts for WRX/STI 04 in Newcastle

Hi

Does anyone know of anyone in the Whitley Bay/Newcastle area that has just got a WRX which they are making into an STI replica?

I have an STI in WR Blue and someone is stealing the parts from mine to put onto another vehicle. So far ive had one of the bumper sides taken and the fog lamp covers stolen.

Any info about this would be appreciated. Also what else do you need to take from and STI to make a WRX Replica?

Cheers

ALSO IF I WAS YOU I WOULD GET A DREMEL AND MARK YOUR PARTS WITH 2 OR 3 SMALL DOTS THAT YOU CAN VIEW WHEN FITTED TO CAR IN AN UNCONSPICOUS PLACE. AS REALISTICALLY YOULL NEVER BE ABLE TO PROVE THE PARTS OR YOURS EVEN IF YOU FIND THE THIEVEING SCUM

OTHER PARTS LIST DIFFERENT ON WRX >
boot spoiler
badges
wheels
headlights
exhaust
turbo
rear lights
seats
clocks
gear ****
steering wheel
engine
box
ecu
ect ect ect.............

You need that micro dotting thing done to your parts, spoiler etc to find the culprit.

Cheers for the advice im fitting cctv and security lighting to the drive. I'll also be able to identify every part on the vehicle once they are marked.

Has anyone bonded the bumper sides etc to the bumper to stop theft?

I'll have a look about for some of that stuff. I'm going to replace all of plastic push fittings with large head allen bolts and then drill the allen key part out of them. I'm replacing the fog lamp covers with fitting fogs and inserts. I'll have to look at the side skirts to see how to permenantly fix them.

Keep and eye out for a face changing wrx in the area.

Feel for you mate.

Happened on my 2 scoobys that I have owned, Both classics though, never had problems with my blobeye. but when your paying 500+quid a time for parts that you already had, it does get a bit annoying!!!

First scooby happened to me 3 times, ended up falling out of love with the car and sold it.

current scoob stays in the garage now!!!!
