not sure about the weight of it, no method of weighing. ive had a lot of bikes such as GT zaskar's etc, and its not as heavy as you'd think, feels fairly light when riding, amazingly smooth to...... 4" front travel...6" rear travel !!

i think the frame inc shock is 5.5 pounds

Unfortunately a lot of my riding is x - country, and roads so have no real need to carry all that xtra weight around ( over a stiff with front forks ) ...

But a very nice machine.

Which Zaskar did you have ?

Nice bike ian. Is a great bargain, unfortunately i cannot afford a new bike at the mo, but if i could i would have it, the other people in here obviously do not know a bargain when they see one. Best bargain i've seen on here in ages!

Fww

Will post a pici of my new "Toy" soon...

This bike is great for the money. The forks have great seals and the group set is fine. Many muppets will spend more today on a bike and get less. Let me tell you.. The Mountain bike market is in a terrible state.. They will not be making better quality bikes for long at good prices. The "Topspec" stuff £1.5-3k are still pucka but the average £500-£900 bikes later this year and next will not be very good.. It is a good time to buy a good bike like this.

Angle the bars a little more forward 5-10% Unless you have very short arms!!
