Brad if I were you mate I would pick up a type r in standard form and drop both off to a garage of your prefered choice and have them swap it all over and then sell the uk car off with a sti spec and someone will buy it as it would be a better spec'd uk car.

Plus It will hard to find someone with a type r at your spec who would want to swap it for a uk car. It maybe close but no doubt you would have to finish it off again to the spec you want or have now. Also that way you still get to use all your hard wrk and cash.

You could probably pick up a rolling type r shell for around a couple of grand!!! swap all the bits over and sell your turbo 2000 shell, at least you wont be out to much out of pocket.

Been thinking of doing the same thing with my STi 6, prefer the look of a 2 door scoob, but love the styling and some of my mods on my scoob.
