I hope this is allowed in this section, but I am really gauging interest to see if anyone is in the market for some standard 2005 WRX alloys. I want to buy some 18" alloys but can only afford to by using the funds from a sale. If this is not allowed here, please remove the thread and accept my apologies.
Standard 17" alloys fit classics through to the Blobeye, maybe even the Hawkeye? One alloy has been kerbed once (about 1.5" along the rim), the others are in pretty good nick. Wheels are mine from new and covered 24k. All wrapped in Goodyear F1 GDS3's, 2 have around 6mm, fronts about 4.5mm (all bought last year and lasting well). The one attached to the kerbed alloy has a couple of mm deep section of rubber nicked off (part of kerbing the alloy!) but I was told by Kwik-Fit it doesn't need changing - it's up to you to decide on that one!
I will provide detailed photos of all 4 wheels/tyres if anyone is interested. I am located near to Reading. Thinking of around £200. I am looking to buy Inovit Tarmac or Redlines in gunmetal in case anyone has some for sale/swap.
Cheers.

As I've been PM'd for pics, thought I'd do the do and remember how to stick em in here. I rechecked the tread and the fronts have just over 6mm all the way across and the rears have 5mm all the way across (no uneven wear). As I said before these are under 1yr old. I have tried to show the kerbing and the bit of tyre that is clipped off (it was only 1mm deep and in that area of the tyre it is thicker to try protecting the rim.
Here you go....

They are Black Diamond with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Much, much better than stock but you do get a bit of droning noise under heavy breaking. I'm sure someone told me this was due to the grooves??? I will be getting the rears done the same once they are due.

I'm still looking for some 18's, until then I can't sell. I'll PM you when the times comes and see if you are still interested. £200 cash will make me order some new ones for the next day though

As I've been away for a few days I've had a couple of offers for £200 but I couldn't respond. One has sourced some others, I'm waiting on a response from Wayne above. Anyone else interested as I should be in possesion of some new ones in the next couple of days so hopefully mine can go to a new home by the weekend???
