There is an E46 330d on Autotrader right now for £16,000 but I'm not saying that my car is worth that either!
Perhaps your words are well intended but surely you can see that in the context of someone trying hard to sell their car, they are miles from helpful?

I suppose like any car sale, there will always be cheap examples being sold by folk who want a quick easy sale and perhaps cannot afford to not sell the car, hence they offer it on the cheap. This however does not dictate the market value.
Thankfully, I am in a poition of being able to ask a price which is both fair in the current market, and what I am looking for.
On AT right now....
54 reg 43k miles - £12,950
04 reg 75k miles - £10,995
53 reg 53k miles - £10,990
All are dearer than mine and none as nice!
