Simtec ECU for V1/2 Impreza
After careful consideration i'm stripping my Impreza V2 STI after bottom end failure due to oil pump
First thing on my list is my Simtec ECU Fitted and Mapped by Jolly Green Monster (Simon), just over a month old
My car had the following mods
3" Straight Thu Exhaust inc Downpipe
S/S Headers
HKS Induction Kit
255 Fuel Pump
The two maps are as follows
Map 1 - 1.1 Bar - Mapped on Tesco 99 RON
Map 2 - 0.6 Bar - Fuel Savin map - Can run on 95 Ron (in a emergency)
This is a plug and play ECU for a v1/2 and is the one of the advised ECUs to get if you are going more than a decat on your car, and it gets rid of the MAF! which is always good
Features inc
Individual cylinder trims for Fuel and Ignition
Charge temperature ignition and fuel correction tables
MAP based load calculation - MAF not required
Adjustable Pressure and RPM breakpoints
Will utilise exisiting MAP Sensor for upto 1.2 bar or Any aftermarket version for boost beyond this level (Delco, Bosch etc)
2 switchable fuel, ignition and boost maps
ETC ETC Many more features
This ECU has Antilag and Launch Control Enabled (very nice
)
I'm looking for £600 (Payed £1200 with the antilag, etc just over a month ago, Prob only covered 500miles on it lol, o well)
