2005 '55 plate' Impreza STi PPP
Right, the time has come to finally buy a house and well I can’t afford to run both a house and an Impreza. I’m in no huge rush to sell as I’ve grown quite attached to her but I thought I would test the water.
I purchased the car in February 2008 from a main Subaru dealer (Beechdale in Derby). The previous owner was a lady who managed 8000 miles over the first 2 years. Current mileage is 41500 as I’ve been covering way too many motorway miles and working abroad.
Below are the current car details however parts can be removed/added depending on preferences/budget. Some friends are circling like vultures for the parts (T25 chassis package and brakes) but it would save me getting dirty if I sold the car as it currently is, see below:
Car details/spec at present:
• Impreza STi PPP
• Registered November 2005 so on 55 plate.
• 41500 miles.
• Tax until March 2010
• MOT until November 2009
• Full service history, last serviced in February 09.
• HPI clear
• PowerStation T25 chassis package (over £1600): Whiteline Anti-roll bars (front and rear), anti lift kit, AST adjustable coilovers OR I have the original ARBs, suspension and Prodrive Springs.
• Remapped by Mocom Racing to approximately 330/330.
• 4 new-ish Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.
• Performance Friction pads all round.
• Performance Friction front 2-piece discs OR standard Subaru discs available.
• Tinted windows all round.
• All other standard MY05 equipment; DCCD, A/C, CD player etc.
Bad bits:
• Paint on the front fog light covers is cracked after they were damaged by a moment of poor parking and had the front bumper re-sprayed. To be honest, not really noticeable and have been searching the classifieds for replacement ones that just clip in.
• Couple of small stone chips but to be expected
If you want to test drive I will need to see driving licence/fully comprehensive insurance certificate otherwise I will be driving.
Not really interested in part exchanges but if you have something cheaper to run and cash my way, I can only say no.
Please no silly offers, traders, test pilots etc. I’d like this to go to a decent home.
£12750ono if you want the T25 chassis package and Performance Friction brakes.
£12250ono if you want it a little more standard.
I’m out the country with intermittent internet access for the next 2 weeks so I’ll endeavour to reply ASAP.
Myself and the car are located in East Hertfordshire.

Thanks Dan.
I'm not totally sure to be honest, another EP3 would tick both the cheaper to buy and cheaper run boxes.
To be honest I don't really want to sell it but freeing up some cash and buying a car that's cheaper to run is the sensible option when getting on the property ladder.
