Nixon watches are superb, I have the Rotorlog which is all real wood.... Very well made, never had a problem with it and it looks the bollox 
Good luck with the sale buddy, if I had the cash I would buy this one as well but car toys keep draining my funds at the moment

I still remember the first time I received Nixon's watch I was well impressed by their quality. I thought it's just a fashion brand, good design and good looking is all they have but I was wrong, the quality is superb as well.

Oh! I can answer this without measuring it.
The model name saids it all, 42 is the size of the whole case, crown included. Unit is mm.
I need to measure the depth though, but I can tell you it's approximately 8mm-10mm thick.
It feels solid as hell, if you like big watch, this is the perfect size for you. Nixon also do a model called 51-30, the circumference of the whole case included crown is 51mm!!!!!! which is way too huge!!!
