Default Immaculate RB5.

This car is in pristine condition. #92 of 444. Fastidious previous owner. Absolute top quality respray June 2009.
Immaculate upgraded interior with new seats etc
Spec is too extensive to list. Concertina file of receipts and extensive history.
This car sufferred an engine mishap 30 August and engine is about to be replaced but purchaser can determine replacement specification.
Sale price subject to actual car specification but will represent exceptional value for money.
Words do not justify the outstanding condition of this car. This is a unique opportunity to own one of these sought after vehicles.
Any inspection welcome.

Thank you for policing this Blue Dragoon. My problem, as you may appreciate, is that the car needs a new engine as clearly stated in the post above. Now any new owner has the opportunity to decide what they would like by way of an engine, anything from a super duper 600 bhp 2.5 down to a lowly semi standard 2 litre producing only a little more than original spec bhp so as a guide price I would say it could be anything from £6,500 to £14,500 or some similar approximate figure, purely dependent on specification decided upon or requested by the new owner. I am sure you will realise the dilemma I had in stating a price and I do think that the terms and conditions are very sensible and I certainly wish to comply with them but of course there are occasionally circumstances that cannot be catered for within rigid rules. I expect you realise what I mean.

Now while you are happy to police these things perhaps you could advise me if Group Buys must have prices
required as per SN terms and Conditions.
.
That would be interesting.

PM or Email for prices on a Group Buy ?

Thanks Termiator. You are dead right. I will ask Karl if he has some photos. Problem I have is that it is in the garage ready for the engine transplant so not very photogenic.

Blue Dragoon. Touchy. Manners? Not me. Sorry Taff, I did thank you and even took the trouble to give you an extensive and poilite explanation. Is it you being a bit touchy. I haven't the least problem with you keeping me right and I am very happy for you to continue to do so, if you have the time. Just e-mail whenever you want with pointers and advice. I am sure forum rules are necessary for a well regulated bbs and to protect members from sharp practices that are all too prevalent in our modern, greedy society.

Thanks also for posting an extract of the rules. Let us hope they are followed and applied by the moderators on the odd occassion they are not followed.

Would it be sold without a new engine?

Taff: Have you completely disappeared your previous post? It was there with a link to the rules and now it is gone. How do you completely disappear a post, usually it shows you have edited it.

I don't see that is viable Jon unless you are looking for a home for an existing engine. Building and fitting engines is something we do all the time for not a lot of lolly. Are you in the North-East or down South.
Drop me an e-mail with what you have in mind.
I should point out that this is quite a well known car, certainly within the RB5 community and RB5OC and the spec and condition leaves little to be desired so it depends really on the level of spec the new owner is after.
If the car is not immaculate and as described by me I will refund the return rail fare to anyone that comes to see it. Can't be fairer than that and it will be a treasure to someone that is into RB5s.
