Hi
After an engine rebuild at APi I have a set of V4 heads
These have come of a MY98 UK car ...so it currently has UK Cams and Valves.
Easily upgradeable to a STi Spec. (Just replace the cams and valves)
They have cracks around the plug holes. This is normal and not a problem
Api David says that they work fine and he has never seen any consequent damage on a head that has had for cracks around the plug holes.
These are currently sat with David at APi - and will be posted out from there.
price 220pounds plus say postage of 20pounds
Payment cash on collection or paypal
Any questions get in touch![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

They are very small non-threatening cracks.
Steve your latest purchase arrived here yesterday, looks a bit high mileage-ey as does the diff. l'll need to look the diff over to be sure that our deal works.

Vers 4's are not prone.
On 5's lt is due to the spark plugs not going fully into the heads where they are then not flush with the surface in the combustion area. I.E. the thread length in the head is longer than the thread length of the plug.
Grp N rally engines have the flush plug mod done as a matter of course and then the cracking is not so common.
Good luck all. David

I honestly don't know whats up with people Steve i mean £220 for a set of V4 Heads was unheard of.
If its the cracks that are putting people off then i suggest you just look at the price of cams, buckets and shims. Head casts can be replaced for £40 it;s the rest of it thats the expensive and most desired.
Good Luck
