Default Late Spec Classic WRX Engine. Engine code EJ20KDW6HE. This is the 280bhp STi spc lump

For Sale:

Late spec classic WRX engine removed from 96 import saloon. Engine code is EJ20KDW6HE. From my research I have been told that this lump is pretty much an STi engine but without the red manifold. It has silver manifold and straight (not off on a slant) black intercooler. These engines produce 280bhp as standard. This particular engine also has a blitz aluminum dump valve (I priced these at £200 new), an IHI VF22 Turbo and Apexi induction kit. Unfortuently the filter housing on the induction kit has snapped off the intake pipe but this will plastic weld or is easily replaced.
The only other thing the engine will need is a new near side rocker cover as the chassis leg on the car was twisted round in the crash that claimed the car and has put a crack in the corner of it and it is seeping a bit oil. This again is easily replaced. Also one of the cam covers in smashed but i've got a replacement which i'll chuck in.

I have a video of engine running prior to removing it last month for anyone wishing to see it. It started first turn after I'd replaced the battery and ran sweet as a nut.

This car was seriously quick prior to crash and was producing around 310bhp. It just pulled and pulled.

I've been told to stick the engine on ebay and hold out for between £1000 and £1200 but to be honest I just need it gone as I need the money and the space. I'm therefore after £800 with the turbo or £650 without the turbo. I reackon thats a good buy for this engine.

Any quiries please ask.

Many Thanks

Craig

Edit** Collection would be preferred but I could probably pallet it up and ship out but I reackon it'll be pretty expensive. Any idea what this lump will weight anyone?? I am located in Durham.
