Im assuming its this one .... 2007 Subaru Impreza, SALVAGE DAMAGED REPAIRABLE on eBay (end time 05-Oct-09 16:43:54 BST) ??![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Someones living in a dream world if they think thats going to fetch £15K??![Suspicious](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/Suspicious.gif)
Good nick undamaged RB320's can be had for under £20K nowadays .... a cat D car that still needs a major repair is not going to fetch £15K, regardless of mileage!!

I own my own body repair shop and do repairs on top end vehicles accident damage insurance ect, when a car is cat D it means that if it's damaged two thirds of the value of the book price on the car it's not a cost effective repair,so one third of say £20000 before the damage is what it's worth, more money in breaking her i'am afraid to say as most guys who buy these don,t want major repaired ones even at £15000 repaired!! never mind what your asking for not repaired, regards pete prestige car bodies portseton near edinburgh.

wow now thats a slight shunt......for 15k i'd expect somethin that'll polish out....that looks like 2 new qtr pannels, possible inner qtr panel, rear panel, spoiler, boot lid, boot floor, rear chassi legs, lights etc......probs 15k worth of parts n labour alone!....what a shame

That's only the start of the list, Bumper cover, bumper support bar, both tail lights and god know what else when you start pulling bits off and examine the damage. on top of what you already mentioned and then the paint and labour charges. 5 to 7K tops is all its worth

A repaired Cat D RB320 would be circa 1/3 the pre-damaged price = £13-14k ish. Once you take off the cost to repair (as you're selling un-repaired) it's gonna be a low figure.
Shame to see that happen to one of the best looking Scoobs though![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

break it you wont get any more than 8 to 10 the way it sits just now imao
13 k plus 5 to 7 repair if done propper = 18 to 20 k whos going to pay 20 k for a cat d yes it is a rb 320 but when it comes time to sell up again for the person thats bought and repaired it i feel they would be in for a bit of a loss especially when theres ones out there for under 20k to be had, steven

When repaired you'll still only get 2/3 of the market rate fella & even then it's doubtful that many peeps will be interested in a Cat D car at circa £13k. People don't seem to buy Cat D other than ones worth a few £k.

i am not expert but if you can fix it for £1500 then sell for £17k ish then i think it is worth your boss getting it done.
sorry but i would never pay that kind of money for a cat d in fact i would not even buy a cat d car,
best of luck what ever you do but i think and the common train of thougt is that you will struggle to sell at the price you want.
break it or sell it cheap i think is the ony way this will go

i think some people are of the opinion that their is one born every minute.
13k for a smashed up cat d un-repaired car never going to happen unless you get someone who has no idea about subaru's whatsoever and is somewhat retarded (no offence to any mentaly sick people).
repair for £1500 no chance unless it's going to be a bodge job.
when a car is written off you can buy it back for 10% of the going market value (hence what it is really worth)
