Thanks for the reply.

I am leaning towards a Type R - but not until March/April 2010.

I thought I would put the RA on the market and if it takes a few months to sell not a problem.

Cracking car Richard, well sorted car for someone at a very reasonable price
You would def need more power if you came up north though

Hi Archie

The cost of getting more safe power out of the RA is one of my biggest issues (not as much as an issue for my Wife).

Always remember:
INVOICES - one to show the wife and one that shows real cost

It makes more sense to sell a well prepared/maintained car now, and wait until the Spring for a replacement/something different.

The RA has been fantastic, 100% reliable and very competitive for the 3 years I have owned and the decision to sell was not made lightly.

3 years on, time for a change methinks.

2006-2009
I went through my old hillclimb/sprint records last night and apart from a 3rd in class at Curborough (June 2008) and a 3rd in class at Loton Park (2006) the RA is either 1st or 2nd in class.

In the hands of a better driver who knows what the RA could do?

I have had the bonnet aero catches replaced last week and the bonnet realigned so that the release/lock of the catches is much smoother than previous.

Suspension alignment carried out earlier this year (after trying allsorts of set ups):
Standard STi Dampers + H&R Springs.
Standard STi Dampers + Eibach Springs.
Bilstein Dampers + Prodrive Springs.

Finally went for the excellent Milsport coilover kit at the end of last year.

I have probably forgotten a few things in the advertisement but feel free to ask away, and I will do my best to answer.
