Hi,
I am a new user to this forum and have just bought a W reg PPP'd 2000 Turbo with only 36k on the clock. I love but I need to change the wheels.
My work is at the end of a horrible rough track so I am willing to swap my wheels: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/64/19...dba458fa04.jpg 1 wheel has a curb mark and minor scratches the other 3 are pretty much mint they all have Falken 452 tyres with at least 5.5mm of tread. These wheels were over £1000.00 from Prodrive.
I would like to swap for the following.
WRX 17'' ie: http://images.adtrader.co.uk/image_s...ge_id=10426944
or with £100.00 the late 2000 Turbo wheels ie: http://subaruproparts.com/popup_imag...8821845bcedcb8
Other OE wheels of the above dimensions will be considered no gold ones please! They must be mint and have good tyres with plenty of tread and be ie , Michelin, Bridgestone, or Pirelli.
I hope this seems fair and hopfully a pretty good deal.
Any other points I will clairfy on conatct, however it is worth pointing out I have not driven down the track in the Impreza yet and wont have to for a while so no worries there.
Cheers,
Ollie

whereabouts are you in the South East? (i'm in Mid-Sussex).
Have a set of newage 17" wheels with Pirelli tyres but i can't remember how much tread is on them - maybe 3-4mm - will check. They've been on the car for 60k so aren't mint, but clean up ok. If you're nearby, drop me a PM and your welcome to take a look - obviously if the tyres are getting near end of life i might be able to add some cash your way...
Can get some decent pics if you want of course.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
how bad is the kerbing on that one wheel?
Re-reading your advert, they might be a bit too worn for you - you did say you're after a mint set. happy for you to take a look or can get pics, as i said.

Hi Steve,
Pics would be appreicted. And if you could check the tread and tyre model that would be great.
The curb mark is about 3-4 inches long and doesnt notice untill up close. Hope that helps.
I am after fairly mint wheels mate but send a couple of pics!

i have a set of 17" wrx wheels off the newage cars. they are 5x100. they have goodyear eagle f1's all around with at least 5-6mm of tread left on them. i know that 2 out of 4 have 1 or 2 minor kerb marks on them (they are small). will have to check the other 2. if your interested, drop me a pm and i'll get pics and exact tread depth with close ups of the minor kerb marks for you. thanks

Why don't you just buy some 17's for £200 or less (which you will definitely be able to, trust me), stick em on, clean up your 18's and bang em out for £500+ on here? It seems odd you would want to do it this way, no wonder every man and his dog are begging for you to deal - I would have 2 months ago LOL
