Day to day I would say they are probably not that far apart (unless you are really thrashing it). The 2.5 is nice and torquey, so the power is there quite early.
May also worth noting that its pretty easy to get the WRX to STi bhp (and not too expensive)
I notice you are up in Doncaster (I'm in Herts/London), so if you would like more pictures let me know and I will try and take some for you.

Nice car but the STi and the WRX are miles apart. Two totally different cars.
The STi has DCCD, 6 speed box, brembo brakes to name but a few. To get a WRX to STi level you are talking about a good few grand.
Having said that, you get what you pay for and an STi for this year at that standard will set you back around £12-£13k. Is this a UK car or a European import? The latter would be worth considerably less.

Scoobysteve - Yup HPi clear - no outstanding finance, crashes, stolen etc. Owned by me from new so I have the full history
Boozydave - They should be the same tyres rather than replaced at the same time. Back have plenty of tread. Front and rear are both Vredestein Sessanta's, which I have found great in both the wet and dry (good reviews on Scoobynet too) compared to my previous Bridgestone's. Road tax is 400 per year, just put new tax on from Oct 1st for 6 months (around £200)
Mikkel - Why are you interested in this advert?

Import or not it makes no difference.
If you think that its worth any less than one bought in this country you would be wrong, the cars are identical with the original price being the only difference.
Payed over the odds for yours did you mate and hopeing its worth more because of it? It won't be!
Great looking car by the way!
Its easy to get to Sti bhp, my WRX has a 3" sportcat system and re-map and runs 282bhp and 320lbft, which is more than the standard Sti.
You do have to spend a few quid to get to Sti standard though!
Good luck with the sale

Not personally, but a pal of mine is on the look out for a WRX. Ideally a SL but I pointed this out to him. He liked the look of it but only wants a UK car (I take it by the cagey responses it isn't). I'm trying to talk him into an STi but he is a stubborn old fool

No worries, didn't mean to **** on anybody's chips.
Good luck with sale.
P.S. put the fact it is not a UK car on your advert. It is a key fact. Would save a lot of time and potential hassle and I'm sure for the right buyer won't be an issue.
