Just crawled home for 25-miles after a loud knock started coming from the engine bay. Obviously the big ends gone. This is the second time in two years, so the car has to go.
I have the following-

Complete 1994 imported wrx in silver with shot engine
Number plate- E10 WRX
Second hand engine which the condition of is unknown. This was a replacement for an engine which went under warranty.
The car body is in excellent condition. Front bumper has got a crack in it. Slight bit of rust on the drivers' door. Slight barely visible scuff on rear bumper. Scuff above both doors where someone has taken off some wind deflectors off. No boot liner. Hole in drivers' seat.
Mot until August 2010
Plate valued at £600.00

I have had no luck with this car and it has spent more time off the road than on in the two years I have owned it. The engine in it has only done 6,000 miles since being rebuilt and I am a sensible 40-year old driver!!

I do not have the time to break it, but maybe someone has?

mate i think you are being a tad bit hopefull dont think youll get more than 800 big ones. you would be better to break spoiler,wheels,turbo,ecu,interior,plate,brakes ect ect you can pick half decent early wrx`s for about 2k sometimes less and they will run. so to be honest buddy i think you are p*ssing in the wind bad luck with the care bud,steve
