Amazing Yamaha R1
I absolutely HATE to do this but I am having to regretfully sell my newly aquired modifed Yahama R1 This is a truely stunning machine - out of the all the bikes I have ever owned or ridden this is, by far, the best - The word I would use to describe the performance, handling, looks and all over ability and power is EPIC!!
This has had a LOT of money spent on it over the past few years, with a Bos underseat exhaust system and single seat conversion being just 1 of the additions, costing over £1300 alone, not including the cost of paint and labour.
It has also had a few other additons, which are listed below:
Modifications:
Bos Underseat Exhaust System
Single Seat Conversion
Harris Steering Damper
Colour Coded rear hugger
Dyno jetted
Double Bubble Screen
Datatag Security System
I bought this to replace my TL1000r, which I used every day to commute to work, but this bike is simply not suited to commuting - its a beast! Its FAR to good to be slogging it out in the rain and snow! I have since bought an Aprillia Pegaso Strada which will be my commuter now so this is now surplus to requirements, and since I'm getting married next year I can't justify to the missus having 2 bikes, as the money should really be being used elsewhere, which sucks, as this bike is georgeous and truely amazing!
Any inspection is welcome, test rides can be arranged, but a deposit and proof of insurance will be required prior to test ride.
The bike is HPI clear so buy with confidence - Any questions feel free to ask and I'll get back to you ASAP
Only negative point to note is that it will require a new front tyre in the next 1000 miles
